From his RX Monday conversation.

How did your hair help you this week?
See, how it helped me was, there were a couple sections on the track that were tricky, and my hair created the proper aerodynamics to keep me flowing in the right direction.

Nice!
Yeah, so it’s always a benefit.

People talk about your hair, but they don’t seem to be able to understand...
They don’t understand the physics behind it! You’ve got to get Bill Nye the Science Guy on it, and he’ll show you guys what it’s doing. There’s a plus to it, for sure. It’s true.

Did you thank your hair on the podium?
No, they didn’t give me much time. They always like rushing me when I get on the podium. [Laughs]

Ya just gotta like the kid.
I'm glad to see him doing well.

He cost me $5.00. I bet that he would not win one this year. I like the kid though, I'll just look at the $5 as an investment.

Yeah he seems like he has his head on his shoulders pretty good.
Hopefully this will start a run for him, getting kind of tired of just watching Mitch decorate his semi.

Blake will be the next champ from Texas. Saturday morning at breakfast, I asked his trainer where the party will be after Blake wins his first SX tonight and he said it will be "in his bed". Blake walks up and Beau asks him where the victory party will be tonight and Blake responds, "in my hotel room", and we all laugh. Blake isn't distracted by girls or parties. He's focused on nothing but winning. You can expect this to be the first of many wins from him.

I was very impressed with him in Atl. this year. Plenty of speed while using his head.
How is he outdoors? Could be a real sleeper to those of us out side of Texas

He's fast outdoors too. As technical as the St. Louis track appeared, no matter what rhythm you hit most of the obstacles with, they were a wash in lap times, so it really came down to corner speed. Blake wast the fastest in the corners Saturday night.

Actually, GREAT attitude!Cheerful
In our viewing group, I called him weeks ago as "gonna be something". Last summer, at Millville, I thought he would come along and succeed.

Did Beau or blake tell you the last thing he does before he goes to bed? He won't go to sleep until he's read his bible...very cool kid, Tyler too! Now if Tyler could only keep that bike running LOL!

At Southwick Blake showed he has plenty of outdoor speed too. Put him on a PC bike and it would be one sick 250f outdoor combination.

the FC bikes are just as good as the PC bikes.

Grant and canard have proven that already.
