I have Gaerne gx-1s currently but I’m looking to upgrade. My current boots push against the screws in my outter leg/ankle, but there is too much room in the toe box. I was looking at the instincts and Alpinestars as I have heard they have narrower toeboxes.

Instinct Offroad. Best boot around imo.

I've been very happy with my Alpinestars Tech 7 enduro's.

I’ve been all about Instincts for the past few years and have tried SG-12s which I did not like but I recently got some new Tech 7s and they are very similar in feel to the Instincts. Both a great boot.

The tech ten bootie seems like it would press on my ankle. I’ll try and find somewhere to try the instinct and tech 7 on!

If you go the Instinct way, try some on first before buying. I am a size 9 usually but couldn't fit a size 10 Instinct. To short length wise and way to narrow. I have pins in my inside leg/ankle,

Sold them, and went with Forma's in the end.

Using the FOX COMP 8 lately i feel nice having my feet in them. They feel kind of big at the first try but by the second moto you go they feel just percect.

I have two pairs of Tech 7. Really like that boot. Low toe box and a pretty good pivot system and reasonably priced. One set has about 100 hours of ride time and they are still in good shape too. I might be going to the Tech 10 for my next set of boots though. Tried the SG12 and didn’t like them. Felt too wide for my feet.

x2 I can't reiterate that enough. These boots are the best fit for my foot, other than Instincts they're the most comfortable as well. You might even be able to find a good deal on the Crossfire 2's since the 3's have been release.

Get the Sidis the are for narrow feet and we love them

Not sure your size, but some models don't have a lot of the bigger sizes , I had to get the X-3's as they were the only ones I could find in size 15.
