This is my issue as well. "I talked to XYZ earlier today..." every single time. It comes off as trying too hard, which she doesn't need to do.

It's meant to establish credibility. Pretty basic journalistic rules she's following there. Otherwise what she's reporting could be construed as opinion or even worse "fake news" (gasp!)

Jenny is awesome. She's a great replacement for Jamie little ( who I really dug as well. ) Both are really classy , well spoken and are great addition's to the broadcast. Hope Jenny sticks around for quite a few years.
