does anybody know what he will be riding? Wonder if Suzuki will hook him up with a factory bike?
Pretty sure he's still sponsored by Suzuki

Maybe Roger D will hook him up with Byrner's bike?

BobbyM, do you think he can keep with MA?

Awesome. I hope 199 stays upright. It'd be amazing if that guy would podium.

I would have thought the bike would have came from Cernics.

You know, it is that time of year and have to brag that I was at Daytona back around 2000.
Pastrana laid waste to the 125 class.
I still remember watching him wheelie thru the entire Daytona whoop section without ever setting the front tire down.

The guy has made a great name for himself and his career is great as well.
I still can't help but wonder (so does Roger D) what he might have been able to accomplish in SX/MX had he put his head in it.

Anytime Travis shows up at a SX race is a bonus for the sport. He will have the most fans there.

Jlaw will take him out and will finally lose every last fan.

When is this event going to be aired? I love TP can't wait to see him on a track again, props to him for giving it a go... I don't have any expectations of him and wish him th best!

Oh absolutely.
The guy has made ten fold over what he could have ever made racing for AMA purse money.

I just kind of dream about how it might have been had he been the hard core kind of guy like RC turned in to towards the end of his career.

Pastrana has been smarter than everyone else.
He won some 125 stuff and got known and then parlayed that in to an amazing career of FMX and just plain craziness.
The guy is pretty awesome.

He will make the main, but crash out in the main trying too hard to make a good showing.

He has to prove nothing! He has done it all. Must be fun to be him. I'm pulling for him non the less.

The only way he won't make the main,is if he crashes. If he goes to the main he will run top 8 but fade to 18th by the races end.

He'll have to settle for 3rd right behind Chad and Travis.

If he had raced Daytona I would have gave him a shot cause that is such a weird race in the middle of the season.

To race at St Louis with a bunch of guys who have been training for this, I don't give him much hope to break the top ten.

No matter what , its awesome for us fans. If you look at the 450 class the last few weeks, he's guarenteed to make the night show, and we all know Travis can beat out a good amount of these guys for a heat win, worst case def an LCQ.

It's just awesome for our sport for him to still drop in for a race. I really hope he does it for an outdoor, but, Im sure at this point it's all about exposure, and possibly a clip on his MTV show. haha

Pastrana is the smartest person this sport has. He does 1 race a yr and its all about promoting his brand. This race is nothing more than a Travis Pastrana infamercial. Travis and his promotion team are amazing.

Actually his head was in it.....too many times.
He has one hell of a life......I cant think of anyone in the world that smiles more than he does.

I'm actually worried that having JLaw and Pastrana in the same place will create some sort of black hole....

I just hope TP has a good time and keeps it on two wheels. If he does that I pick him for 7-8th....possibly top Suzuki rider not named Reed Wink

I just hope the Speed camera crew is smart enough to show him on the track!

I'd rather see Travis having fun in 15th place then James out front by 10 seconds.

This is the post where I praise Travis's riding ability and comment on how much of an honor it is for him to bless us with his presence, then I will question his stamina and admit he will probably fade. In this post I would also like to wonder out loud what could have been and add that I hope he rides safe and doesn't take anyone out.
