He made the main last time he showed up to race St Louis. I certainly wouldn't count him out.

i hope he does, but it's fairly deep this year, especially when riders like Byrne, Ferry, Hill etc have missed the cut before

Very cool. He'll make the main. That dude still has more SX skill than half the field. Unfortunately, he just won't last the entire main without fading.

Hopefully he makes it far enough through the main to actually be able to fade. Last time he raced STL like this he was leading the pack in the main and then crashed and hurt his knee a lap or 2 in.

Pastrana is bad ass. It'll be good to even see him out there. I hope he backflips one of the triples or the finish line like he did at San Diego.

That will be cool to see him back on a track. But didn't last time he tried qualifying, he made the main but didn't race?

That is true but he was fast as hell. His problem is that he probably won't be in race shape and I don't remember the last time he has raced without putting his body through a serious beatdown.

Glad to hear TP is getting back out there.
I just hope he keeps it on two wheels and finishes the races that he lines up at the gate at.

FYI: I'm 90% sure Ferry (with his broken heel) and Byrne (with his dislocated or separated shoulder) will be out for St Louis

Tp will make the main and if in fact he has been training w/ or at Reed's house I think he might do quite well

Yea, I think he will make the main, but I don't think he will be a contender. Unless there is another washout in the first turn. I do not think he will backflip in the race. I thought that is why he did not race the main at Daytona, two years ago. The AMA said there was no room for that in an SX race.

They've been doing FMX at the half time shows I think. My guess is he'll ride the event and do the half time show. I hope that's how it turns out anyway..

Pastrana always had great speed. He may do better than we would expect.
Chad Reed did an interview recently and said Pastrana was going to train at his house to prep for St. Louis. Travis was suppose to start right after the San Diego weekend.
This isn't new to him, he knows what he's doing and if he's sincere, he should do well.

St Louis is the "Travis" designed track and he told me a couple weeks ago when he was here for the 100 acre rally that him and his fellow Nitro Circus pal Hubert were designing the track and wondered if he could get away with making a track with nothing but whoops. He is out at Reeds place practicing and admits Reed is smoking him. To those whining that he wont make the main....who cares....it most be horrible to not have race bikes for a while to get out there and still be the most popular rider and maybe he races a heat and worst case doesnt make it out of the LCQ he will have fun and a lot of people will be happy he is there. By the way, I have the utmost respect for RC and Larocco but did you see them race Daytona or Indy?
