I asked for a trophy list and they said they dont have any plans for that, maybe they do it just a few days before
I've never played a game that didn't have trophies/achievements. I know the MXGP games have them so I'm sure MES will have them too. Don't think they'll make an announcement just to release a list of them.

MX vs ATV is the one you can play a few days earlier if you buy it from the Xbox/PSN store.

I can't speak for Xbox, but since 2009 Sony has forced all developers to have trophies implemented in games before they can be released. This game will definitely have trophies.

The track editor looks like a lot of fun – reminds me of the old MCM1 days.

Maybe because there is nothing around it to give it depth but the home made tracks look a little more narrow than the pre-made ones. Either way – I see this being a shit ton of fun with friends.

Is it just me, or has any of these gameplay videos shown not one person clear a supercross triple? Might be because they are taking the inside of every turn.. But I have yet to see anyone successfully clear a triple. Much less carry speed/scrub one.

I think it's a good thing that you have to nail the corners to clear the triples, it makes everything better for us that will actually be able to play the game like it is meant to!
Surely the triples should be the easiest part of the track?

PUBG doesn't have achievements. But its technically not a game. Its an Alpha testing product.

If you pre-ordered from Microsoft the download version, it says at the top "Release date: ‎Monday‎, ‎February‎ ‎12‎, ‎2018‎ ‎9‎:‎00‎:‎00‎ ‎PM" So, you get it 3 hours early. I already pre-ordered and it downloaded/installed. So 9pm 2/12 I am ready to go.

The game is close, but it's still off from what it should be. I watched a chad reed at Vegas video, he hit the back of a rider, went flying and flipping off the track, didn't crash, but as soon as he went to get back on the track, the game reset him. That pisses me off so bad in MXGP3, and it looks like this is the same.

Plus literally riding on top of people's heads and nobody crashing is very annoying. Even if there are 21 other AI, you should still have to watch your line, or even if you are trying to take someone out, screw it and land on them.

Another thing I hate about MXGP3, and now this sx game: when you scrub, you do the animation, which I don't have a problem with the actual animation itself. I have a problem with once the animation is over, you can't control the bike or rider. So if you scrub and the animation turns you off the track, you're screwed cause you can't do a damn thing.

Those are the three biggest things I hate about Milestone games. If they could correct those simple things, I think the games would be much better. This will probably by my favorite moto game, but we should still demand better from these companies. MVA Unleashed had great physics in regards to taking out other riders, collisions, and even suspension and feeling the whoops and jumps, but the zero gravity hurt that game. Milestone should be able to do so much better. But 12 more days until we have our hands on this game and I am stoked!
I agree with the scrub animation issue. That’s one complaint I have and it bugs the crap out of me. We should be able to control the bike as soon as we let go of the button. It’s really frustrating and I stopped using the scrub feature unless It’s a straightaway after the jump.

The only other complaint I have is that 3 was too fast and 2 was too slow. If they could find something right in the middle it would be so much better. Coming from 2, I had a hard time transitioning over to 3. Now that I’m use to 3 I have a hard time going back to 2 because is so slow.

i'll be buying it and am looking forward to the track editor
I agree. The speed is way too high for supercross.

None of these videos are Pro physics simply because there's no Pro physics in the game Wink

Also, I don't understand the physics programmers of Milestone's games. They seem to have a fundamental misunderstanding of gravitational acceleration. The rate at which object is descending to the Earth increases; the rate does not stay constant. That bike's descent has not nearly reached its terminal velocity. Can't they see in front of themselves that the bike is, quite literally, floating back down to the Earth? Absolutely immersion killing.

An extreme example Robbie Maddison's Vegas drop: https://youtu.be/5YLjrgdqCxc?t=1m35s

Is it programmer's managers who won't let them fix this? Is it a time schedule? Is it laziness? I just don't get it.

Reedy has tourettes ??

One big thing that hinders the physics in Milestone’s games is how immediately the bike straightens itself out in the air when you stop leaning, would be a good idea if they just left that for the assisted physics.

These Milestone games are so much better in first person view.

This one looks awesome with the goggle and GoPro view.

Anyone else notice in first person the rider grabbing the clutch and brake levers? Pretty sweet. Not sure if this was in other games, as I don't ride in first person much and never noticed.

As everyone else already said, the graphics are amazing. But the physics need work. The game needs to slow down just a hair. And coming up short on jumps needs to have a different affect. In the beginning of the Reed video, they bounced across the tops of all the jumps like a massive whoop section.

They had that in the last installation as well.

The rider did that in ATV off road fury 2. Its not that groundbreaking but cool to see the continued attention to detail in moto games.

It takes this person a little while to get the hang of it but by about the 4:00 mark this rider gets a pretty good flow going. Pretty good riding towards end of video. You can tell they know what they are doing and do get some good rhythms going. That 1 lap after the 4 minute mark is some of the best footage I think I've seen, personally.

Also, and I've noticed this with other games, the camera does affect how fast the game looks. I'm not saying it changes it but different camera angles do give different speed perceptions for some reason. I've noticed this in other MX games. The closer cameras appear to make the game a more realistic pace than the far away ones. May just be me and my perception though. But that's good as I prefer a 3rd person camera zoomed in as close as possible.

Here is a full video which includes the one I posted above but also more footage as well as a pretty good looking Deano video I haven't seen before. The person talking seems to be pretty spot on saying yeah, it could go more sim but it still looks great.

Anyway, the Deano footage is at end but you also see some new menu and rider select screen footage. Good stuff!

Are you talking about their little track editor on Facebook or something completely different? Dedicated track editor app?

First time hearing about it.

The guy goes off track in the first corner then blows through everyone like they are stuck in mud. Crashes twice and never gets passed...wtf?
2/4/2018 5:21pm
I'm not nitpicking, but did anyone notice Dungeys ankle at the 1:22 mark? That looks really painful haha. I wouldn't have noticed that if it wasn't in slow-mo. I bet these replays would look cool if it was a gate full of guys online that know what they're doing.
