It won't take long before the 2018 tracks are replicated. I didn't look at all the maps for this year but if any of them go up into the stands I don't think we'll be able to replicate that feature but who knows.
As for the video that drok577 posted I had to laugh at using the tuff blocks as a berm in some places and completely do nothing in other places except bumping them and sending them on their way like a frisbee. So much for realistic, landing on top of the AI and no one goes down. That needs to be fixed. Air physics still need to be tweaked in my opinion.
Pit Row
I think it's a good thing that you have to nail the corners to clear the triples, it makes everything better for us that will actually be able to play the game like it is meant to!
Plus literally riding on top of people's heads and nobody crashing is very annoying. Even if there are 21 other AI, you should still have to watch your line, or even if you are trying to take someone out, screw it and land on them.
Another thing I hate about MXGP3, and now this sx game: when you scrub, you do the animation, which I don't have a problem with the actual animation itself. I have a problem with once the animation is over, you can't control the bike or rider. So if you scrub and the animation turns you off the track, you're screwed cause you can't do a damn thing.
Those are the three biggest things I hate about Milestone games. If they could correct those simple things, I think the games would be much better. This will probably by my favorite moto game, but we should still demand better from these companies. MVA Unleashed had great physics in regards to taking out other riders, collisions, and even suspension and feeling the whoops and jumps, but the zero gravity hurt that game. Milestone should be able to do so much better. But 12 more days until we have our hands on this game and I am stoked!
i'll be buying it and am looking forward to the track editor
I have the game pre-ordered on xbox and am very excited to play it. A "pro" setting could give advanced players some exciting options:
- AI speed multiplier for faster ai,
- heavier or squishier tuff blocks,
- longer delay option after crashing,
- option for crashes when player bike lands on another rider.
The game looks great and appears to be easy enough for casual fans, but some areas of gameplay appear to be too casual, or too easy for experinced gamers. I hope you read my comment and consider this.
