Eli's starts are definitely improved over last year. In 4 of his 5 "main event" starts he has been first or second. Moto 1 at A2 was his worst start so far and that was a 6th.

Weston tried to demoralize him but then Barcia drops him and almost catches Eli, I don't think even the biggest Barcia fan would dream of him riding this good this year

So how are we rating Eli's chances now after 4 rounds? Last year he was down 25 after 3 rounds and 29 after 6 rounds. We know he was able to claw it back with 3 rounds to go. After Glendale he is now 36 down with 13 rounds to go... Last year there wasn't many guys who could take points away from RD5. Should be a good fight.
