Milestone probably asked him to re-post the video with the correct track name lol - everyone asks if Daytona is in the game. Since it sounds like he is on easy mode, I wonder how pro setting will be without assists to save the bike from crashing?

The track looked great. Line choices between taking inside corners or hit the outside berms looked just like how the pros would choose last year imo. Realistic scaled tracks and bar banging should be fun online. 12 players running close times and all of a sudden every pass will be a battle just like on tv.

The game is going to be badass. You will be surprised when you watch someone who plays the gp series jump on it. A lot of good guys already make MXGP3 look like “new physics”. So when they get ahold of this it will be crazy how good it looks. All the critics are basing the negativity of off some dude who is terrible at playing on begginer physics.

Indeed. And a lot of these videos are people playing the game for the first or second time, more than likely. And with assists on, etc. As I said before, most MX games look brutal in preview videos. It takes a bit of time to learn how to play these games. I'm just glad it's not exaggerated with stupid length jumps, ridiculous preload, turbo clutch and excessive speeds. I'm sure it will play just fine. It won't please everyone...nothing ever does...but I think it will be awesome and fill the void that a lot of Supercross fans have been wanting.

That was a pretty decent video. The guys talking have no clue about SX, but the footage looks really good. The player wasn't super good, but at least he cleared some jumps this time. The camera on SX is pulled back a little more and the jumps look proper (for those complaining about jump size)... whoops still look small. They also mentioned a "time attack" mode which sounds interesting. Track editor looks really good too. Really looking forward to this.

Also, gravel looks pretty fun too. The track in LA Coliseum looks like it would be a blast to play on.

If you take a good look at the video you'll notice when he's playing around with the track editor that there's going to be 3 whoop sizes to choose from (low, half and high)

That said I would have expected to see the bigger/high ones used for the replica tracks in the game. If the one's seen in the video's are indeed the bigger/high whoops the other versions will be pointless since the one's shown in the video's are pretty much nonexistent.

I'm gonna say it again.........why is every track muddy? I just don't get it. At this point I'm going to go out on a limb and say the domed stadiums urinals over flow and floods the track since it can't rain.

I'm going to use the track builder to build this track. IMO, the 2009 Indy track was one of the best.

Actually if you look closely at 6:26, those are the high whoops just before the over under and they seem pretty good to me, you could start with the first 2 being low to catch rhythm and then use the rest of the path with high

The Daytona video you guys are taking about is unavailable for me, can you all still see it?

Track Editor Options: I said this before but I don't think anyone caught it.

If you want to see what we have to work with, go to the original track editor video, set the play speed to .25, go to .42 seconds in the video, and play pause to stop on all the different track piece options. You can see most of what it has to offer. Including that there are 3 different whoops sizes.

No longer available for some reason. It wasn't up for a longtime. Personally I thought it was the best looking track shown so far.

I wouldn't be surprised to find that if the n00b we've been watching is on level easy which has the low style whoops, and if you select hard they change to the high versions? I'm hopeful anyway, but either way i can't wait for the game, it's looking awesome!

I sure hope that's the case but I've never played a game where the obstacles change sizes based on the difficulty setting chosen.

The AI obviously get smarter/tougher to beat that's for sure.

If the obstacles do change sizes with the difficulty level chosen I think that would be a first. That might be possible during the career mode or single race but I don't think that would be an option for online play.

That's why I'm excited for the game,we all have our prefered tracks and we are gonna replicate it.
Such a big step for milestone games.

I'm not too worried about the "VVV" gameplay videos. If you pause at the 18-second mark he is playing with assists on AND on the easy difficulty setting.

It baffles me that Milestone don't get a top player to test it and use their videos for advertising the game. All these jokers who can't play it will be having an effect on sales

Most of these videos come from companies doing reviews or getting advanced copies like VVV. This isn't Milestone putting them out. Granted, they, too, don't always put out the best videos but all these ones we have seen lately seem to be not from Milestone themselves.

I look at it like this. The game must not be overly simplistic and does have a bit of a learning curve to play right. That's never a bad thing. Most of the videos we saw from MXGP pre release looked rough too and Supercross is less forgiving. It will be here soon and I'm sure once skilled players have it it will look way better.

And as stated above, these vids are in easy mode, assists on, the whole thing. I agree it would be cool to put your top rider on a video with pro physics for the hardcore fans But we've never really seen that any time before either, sadly.

props to milestone after I ragged on them, this track looks great. I really think they went the mx vs atv route and created easy-medium-hard tracks not just their original layout. Which isn't that bad but will make those easy ones boring

The video shows how realistic the East Rutheford track is, so realistic the player got a case of Tomacitis resulting in complete shit riding and they blew the same corner that Musquin did to give up the win. Must have took alot of time to get things that realistic. Grinning
