What happened?

He used to be a top 5 guy. I know he lost his factory ride and did his own deal for a year or two (with the help of Rickie Fowler I believe), and now he just seems like he’s faded into not even making mains?

Lack of training? Lack of motivation? I have a feeling we will be seeing him “retire” sooner rather than later, much like many other great names that have come and gone.

I wonder the same. I am a big fan of his but I think the bottom line is he got hurt bad After that unless my memory serves me wrong it just has not been the same There are other guys like this also really but there is nothing I would be happier to see them chiz up front.

Yeah I remember back in the days when DV was training him was his peak. He was starting to get too 5 speed and then an injury took him out. Never really been the same since but he can still get good finishes in the 250 class.

Yeah it was sweet to see him get king of bercey or however you spell it but I hope he has a good season.

When did he last have a factory ride, '09 when he was on a sx only deal with yamaha as bubbas teammate? He hasnt been a top 5 guy since the couple times he got some top 5s in 2011 before he got hurt.

He just netted some really good points for anybody in the Pulp fantasy though. And think about how long ago '09 was for this sport. I think he's doing great.

I think his wife is bad ass, has a beautiful daughter and he gets to ride bikes all day for decent teams. He’s doin alright in my book! I’m jealous!
