Looks like there's going to be plenty of micro transactions. Personally I'm not a fan of that model but do understand it from a business point of view.
I just hope they're priced accordingly and that the purchases are in bundles and not individual items. I don't want to start paying $0.50 for a single helmet or goggles, $0.75 for a set of gear or set of graphics, $1.00 or more for each track they release or whatever the cost may be. All those little transactions add up. If you're able to carry all those items over to the next game they release then it's different.
That said I was wondering what the bonus items were going to be so it looks like I'm going to have to pre-order it soon.

Like I previously mentioned there's a pretty good group of guys so far so it should be fun when the new games are released.
@VilloFan951 I'd encourage you to start a non-moto thread under something like Xbox Gamer Names or something along those lines so people on here can post them up. You can also use the search function up top for Xbox usernames and start sending out invites to those guys. Not sure if everyone who posted their usernames still post on here or not. That's why I'm suggesting a new thread in non-moto. Still plenty of time before the games are released but in the meantime you can play other stuff with fellow posters. Beats the hell out of playing with random 12 year olds lol.
Edit: Also I live about 5 minutes from Angel Stadium and just got hooked up with free tickets to A1 from VP Racing so maybe I'll see a few of you guys there!
I haven't played any MX related game in years because I got bored of them and the last few releases from the Nordic team weren't up to par. Last one I played was the first MXGP game possibly the 2nd one. Been a while, I know that much.
Recently I've been playing Assassin's Creed Origins. I just completed that one so now I'm playing Call of Duty: WWII until new DLC content is released for Origins. Playing the campaign first then I'll jump online.
And yeah I've gone to every season opener since like '94 and rarely miss an Anaheim race, as well as many San Diego and Vegas races since the 90s. Usually go to Washougal Glen Helen and Hangtown, saw that legendary '06 battle with Stew and RC, Went to Pastranas first race at the old Supercross World championship at the Rose Bowl, the first Monster Cup where RV won the million, as well as the des Nations in Colorado. Planning on going to Red Bud for the des Nations too.
Not everything is included with the season pass. You get some perks but in most cases there's always more stuff available for purchase.
That's the reason I'll pre-order the game. It's not going to cost me more money to do so and I get a free season pass which is going to include some cool stuff.
For those that don't pre-order the game there's going to be a fee to get the season pass. Not sure how much Milestone is going to sell it for. It could be $10 or $40. It all depends on the content they'll be putting out and what they think it's worth. Obviously it's not that important if you're a casual fan but most of us on here that plan on getting the game will put a lot of hours into it so it makes complete sense to pre-order the game.
How much does it retail for on the PlayStation store? I've never bought a digital game so maybe you can answer the following question. If you purchase a game from the PSN store does it take space on your PS4 hard drive or is it stored on their cloud system? If it's stored on their cloud system how many gb of storage/free space does PlayStation give you? Is it possible to purchase additional space or is it unlimited? Thanks.
But overall looks better than what we have seen before.
Cooper in that video pins it across the flat and no aggression or movement is shown, his throttle arm doesn't even rotate, i cannot understand why these fundamental things are left out when they could make some of the biggest changes to gameplay. Even when he's sitting into a lip, no compression of the rider or anything. Baffles me.
Cant wait.
Pit Row
Pretty sure it is Aaryn234 though.
Will let you know Xmas day when I set the PS4 up
Also, it's nice seeing they were already scanning riders for what I'd assume will be the 2018 SX game at Angel Stadium last weekend. Shows they're in it for the long haul. Now will milestone be putting out mxgp 4 in 2018? Will there ever be a AMA Motocross milestone game?
It looks great to me. Not perfect but great. And a huge, huge, huge leap in what we've had as far as replicating our actual AMA series.
I suggested non-moto because technically that's where it belongs but do as you please. Start with a search on the forum. From what I remember there's quite a few names there that you could send out invites.
Pretty certain you'll have a decent amount of people in no time. After all the Xbox is the more popular console.
As Wayne and Garth would say "Game On"
You do make a good point on budgets. With Monster being a title sponsor I have no doubt Milestone has a good budget but compared to the Call of Duty franchise it's peanuts. Those big AAA games are multi-billion dollar franchises. Like you said, they do the best they can with what they have. That said the Milestone team has come a very long ways in a short amount of time since they first released MUD. I haven't played their last couple of games but it looks like things improved with each game they have released.
In my opinion it's worth it to go out and pre-order/purchase this upcoming game and show them support.
