"People in glass houses shouldn't throw stones". That'd make you a hypercrite wouldn't it?

Ask yourself. What does Jeff have to gain by all this? I'd suggest. Nothing more than a safer environment for the kids he works with and future of the sport. It should be obvious, this isn't helping him personally in anyway. Quite the opposite by the looks of it.

Seems to me, Jeff is giving back to the sport he has participated in and loved his entire life..

You can't fix a problem unless you acknowledge it. If some have an unfair advantage over others, that's a huge problem for the sport.
Easy there tiger....

I'll just say better have deep pockets or maybe start another GoFundMe. Lawyer's are expensive and lawsuits aren't cheap.

Maybe ask Mike what his start technic is so you can line up for some of that holeshot money come SX 2018. Just a thought, No?

The Alessi’s are so blackballed in this industry, they are the only ones who have nothing to loose by speaking up. It’s sad to say, but they’re our only hope!

In other words. Thank you Jeff for putting your head on the chopping block to help and do the right thing for the sport we all love.

I, personally, spend my hard earned dollars towards products from companies who support the sport. So, what has Jeff done to help the future of the sport after 21 pages of this jargon? And how do you know Jeff has helped any kids achieve their goals? I haven’t heard any testimonials or parents vouching for his skills. I’ll apologize and retract my comment if he’s some unspoken, MX Jedi trainer I wasn’t aware of.

I really shouldn't have to point it out to someone who obviously considers themselves to be as smart as you. But anyway. He is helping by starting the conversation.

Jeff: The sport is dirty, and hurting the kids I’m training. PED’s are everywhere

Us: Prove it

Jeff: I cant name them here.... but I totally could.

DC: Jeff is off base

Jeff: Won’t read anything from DC. Drops Managers meeting of 13 as proof sport is dirty.

DC: Details everything that has been done since then

Then roughly 15 pages of banter about who is / who isn’t using....

I was going to say giving back is charity work, teaching and getting paid for it is employment.

He isn't giving anything back that I know of.

Like Big Bird. Jeff could use his time and skills to be a world class RC car racer. he chooses to help the future of our sport instead. He has won a championship in that sport. He hasn't turned his back on the sport like others.
I know which would yield more $$.

Alrighty then. I don’t claim to be smart but I do think I have common sense and intuition. Jeff’s track record and current behavior don’t put him in the most trustworthy position. That is all.

No, I'm just stating being an idiot about it is going to cost him an arm and a leg so he better start saving up because the people he mentioned have deep pockets and won't fuck around whenever/if it comes time to go to court. It's one thing to bring up the subject that PEDs are being used in the sport and it's an entirely different thing to say PEDs are being used in the sport and claiming you have names, proof, etc. and go own about it without proving anything.

PEDs are being used in every sport and things won't ever change. I stated that a few pages ago. People are always going to do what they want whether it's legal or illegal. Law's are broken every single day, some get caught and some don't. Is it fair? No, but that's life.

Pfffft! Look where he came from. "Lay with dogs, you'll catch their fleas". He's the most questionable person in the sport right now, and who can blame anyone for asking that question after considering his background?

Dude no lie your rambling non-sense makes you look like your the one on drugs. For gods sake someone take Jeff and lock him in a room somewhere before he ruins every shred of credibility he or his brother mike have left. Poor mike he is a victim of this shit. He seems like a good dude for the most part but his brother and his dad are the male version of that crazy bitch in the movie "gone girl"
Its very obvious who is connected to PED cheaters by the style of their defensive posts...

Gang, I went back and read this whole thread again too, and I want to make a couple of points here...

To go back and suggest that Ricky Carmichael won because he started working with Aldon is missing a few points. RC was a dominant amateur for 10 years before and the best 125cc rider EVER before Johnny O'Mara introduced him to Aldon Baker. (And then James Stewart became an even faster 125 rider.) Then he got serious about training. Like Tom Brady, he watched everything he put in his body, every meal, every beverage... He once told me he couldn't wait to retire because "I've been on a diet for a decade!"

In 2007, when he was on a partial schedule and only riding half the races, he managed to win two SX main events against Stewart and Reed and Windham, and all six outdoor nationals he entered, and then the Motocross of Nations.

In 2011, well off his diet, he went and dominated Loretta Lynn's in the Vet class.

And even now, ten years after he retired, he can hop on a bike and flat-out fly. If he went back into training, I don't doubt he could battle for podiums and maybe even wins again.

My point is this: Carmichael wasn't just an animal with training, he was a remarkably talented athlete with an incredible ability to ride a motorcycle. Discrediting him here a dozen years after he quit is ridiculous. The man could ride a motorcycle, way back when as a kid, and right now still. If you don't believe that, go back and watch all those dominant 125cc wins from '97 to '99 when he was heavy. He could beat anyone but McGrath and he knew he had to get in better shape to beat Jeremy, which he finally did in 2000-2001. Then he worked his ass off for six more years and kept winning. His career was a masterpiece, not a science experiment.

Respect.

I think you mean, “perception is reality.” Which I completely agree with. But when you say facts amount to nothing, there you are wrong and misspoken. Jeff isn’t talking about perceptions.

The part I struggle with, and find it hard to buy in to accusations without proof ... like Davey Coombs said earlier, most/all of the guys being called out were insane on 65's and 85's, and as pros if you've watched them in person they were clearly faster starting on lap 1 of practice.

Of course teaching is what's going to make him the most money. That's all he really knows. I highly doubt he graduated high school.

Point was giving back is something you go out of your way to do for free. Whether it's donating time at a homeless shelter, tutoring kids after school, etc. It's an act of charity.

One might argue that he's giving back by teaching his knowledge of the sport of motocross but the fact is if you're getting paid to do something it's employment not charity.
