As for MX vs. ATV All Out it is coming out in January 2018. Someone asked that question on Instagram and I replied January 2018 and they liked my comment. Also, Stephane Roncada who works for the company said it himself that it will be on sale in January of 2018. Not sure of the date but considering games are usually released on Tuesday's or Friday's I'd say it will come out on any of the following dates in January: 9th, 12th, 16th or 19th.
If it's pushed back for any reason it will still come out in Q1 of 2018 meaning anywhere from January to the end of March.

Only a few months away so we'll know soon enough.
It remains to be seen and it'll be hard to tell from a simple gameplay video. You can't really judge physics from a video. That's something you can only really "feel" once you play the game yourself.
Not much has been shown on All Out but with the limited amount of stuff we do know I have to say that it looks pretty promising.
Pit Row
Haven't even mentioned how Im so sick of the gamepad stick flicking "preload" gyration I had to do playing mx vs atv sx when I had the 360 version. Yeah, that was a great noise to hear others talking and the CLICK CLICK slamming of gamepad sticks being flicked lol. Milestone is upfront about it's game at least has the visuals to match it's video trailer releases. Can't wait to buy the Monster sx game from Milesone and good riddance to all the whip complainers and preload glitchers.
The graphics will be just as good as the Milestone SX game because they were both developed using the Unreal Engine 4. For Milestone the SX game will be their second game using that engine so they have more experience with it and have learned from it developing MXGP3. For the MX vs ATV team this will be their first one using that engine but it's safe to say that it's a lot better than their in-house engine they've used for the previous games. The Unreal Engine 4 is a powerful gaming engine but it's only as good as the team of developers using it. That makes a big difference.
I don't get all the bashing for All Out. Sure the past few game releases from that team haven't been perfect but we have very little info on All Out and no video's yet. To be honest it looks a lot more promising than the previous games. It might not be perfect but I personally think it'll be better than Reflex, Alive and Supercross/Encore and it looks like they're moving in the right direction.
I've read this entire thread and haven't seen an official comment but a lot of speculation for sure.
It just doesn't make sense but I suppose some people do it just to hear themselves talk.
I'm always constructive and respectful. But I refuse to just bite my tongue when they continually can't get the speed of bikes or scale of tracks right. That should be priority 1. Making tracks extra wide because you have atvs in the game? Especially when doing Supercross replicas? Well, yeah, that gets me. Just simply have fewer atvs than bikes. Boom. Problem solved. Don't compromise the scale of the sport.
And the track scaling is magnified, especially in Supercross, by having only half the field of riders totally eliminating the tight aspect that is so integral to the sport. Tracks made too wide + only 12 riders equals not very Supercross like feeling. Again, to me. Just my opinion. Those are aspects and priorities FAR more crucial than whips and scrubs. At least to me.
That's why I liked Alive best in this series. But it was cut so short we got barely anything good. And everyone thinks I'm Milestone Milestone...which yes, MES looks to be everything I've ever wanted in a SX game and I can't wait for it...BUT I still go. on record and say that the single best MX experience on console was Alive's JS7 tracks. Period. I think that changes in February with MES but to this point Alive's JS7 stuff is the benchmark, especially for MVA.
But other than Alive, they have totally missed the mark on what should be priority 1. The non JS7 tracks blew in Alive but you could tell with those tracks that correct scaling and speed made for a challenging, yet fun and realistic feeling simcade experience.
I think All Out will be an improvement. But the scale will be off again....for the atvs. It does look like they did slow the game down some though per Michael's impressions. That's good news.
I hope we get some sort of actual MX and SX points series but I expect it to be abbreviated at best with so much concentration on all vehicles. And though we did finally get a points series again in Encore they again dropped the ball by not letting us have a points series with the 2017 replica tracks. That's just poor design.
And it was also a misstep not allowing us to choose which riders could participate. Thus your points series often only had only 2 elite riders in it, if that. Then again, with the AI so scattered and random a points series probably wouldn't even come close to making sense. But that's another can of worms I'll just stay clear of for now.
But hey...I'm ready and waiting and hoping All Out is good. I pre-ordered. I'm not that excited for this game anymore, admittedly, with the competition giving me exactly what I've always wanted, but I still always support and think this company can make a good MX game. But we're two months in guys....time to show us what you've been working on for two years. And I don't mean the soundtrack rotation.
