I don't know if anything can top the 2002 CR125R
Haha, I just wanted to show off a little. Had tons of people bag on me for having the "slowest 125 ever" but with a little love it's been an absolute top. plenty fast if you can ride it on the power band, and the things an total tank. Can't tell you how much abuse it's withstood and always came back for more. Love it.

But, the small, brake line sized hose to the reservoir that had to be re-located is a hell of a mistake. For those that think it's not, that small ID'd line has to deal with the fluid displaced by the shock shaft, so either 16mm / 18mm, as against what would be lucky to be 4mm. And that's quite a large difference as an ' in circuit ' restriction, prior to the oil getting to the reservoir compression circuitry. Whenever I've had to do such a thing, and it's a fair few times, I've made sure I used a high volume oil line, and high volume banjos / fittings. Usually it involves machining large enough 'landings' to take the necessary thread, and welding them to the cut reservoir / arm / body.
Please don't tell me you're one of those that think the YZFs are 'evil'. Well, from your question, I guess you are......
To me, they've just been a (pair) of bikes that have shown the usual differences between brands and models, through their variations.
I don't own one, but have ridden them, and many other bikes, many times. Each has it's own idiosyncrasies.
That small diameter hose has more chance of f**king up the handling, than any reversed engine, oh Unusually Large Primate Boy.
