What about MXdN 2012/2013? 1-1, 1-1

People on here are funny, Tony is beating Herlings his rookie year on the 450 after starting the series injured and he is the king.

The next race if Herlings wins he is the GOAT and Tony is washed up.

Just enjoy the racing.

I wouldn't be surprised if Herling's wins 75% of the races next year. He looks damn good for his first year.

2006 he won on a 250 vs 450s and 2009 him and Reed had one of the better battles in recent years the AMA champ VS World and they ditched the rest of the pack. He has 6 Moto wins and if Italy kept him on the 350 in Latvia there is no doubt it would have been 6 in a row.

Let's completely forget Gasjer....with Gasjer gone Herlings has zero overalls. How do you think it will be when he is healthy again?

Exactly, Cairoli's record at MXdN is hugely underrated. Italy may have won in 2009 had it not been for bad luck in the last race, and they would've won in Teutschenthal under the old scoring system

No different? Herlings healthy is better than gajser imo. Cairoli and herlings are the two best guys

Herlings went 1-1 before Gajser got injured. Herlings also beat Gajser the weekend before. Your point..?

Also, Cairoli still being on top of the game right now is what makes him the king. (in my book)

Didn't Tim get wounded in round 2 or 3? Was thinking he was nursing some injury before the one he's recovering from now? Both Jeffrey and Tim at 100% healthy....I think it could be a toss up depending on where they are racing. Herlings is coming around , but when Tim is on.....he's on , and extremely fast. Should make for some great racing over these next year , which is great for all of us.

Tim dominated round 3 and round 4 and went 3-1 at round 5. Tim's nursing injury was from the nasty crash in the second moto at round 7 in Kegums I believe, the same round Jeffrey won.

Yeah we have some great years ahead. Tim's absolutely crazy on the bike. One of the best riders to watch. I hope one day we will witness a battle between Tomac, Baggett, Gajser, Cairoli, Herlings, Musquin and Febvre when he's on at one of the des nations.

I totally forgot about Gajser.......

Hes my favorite rider in the GP's and I think he has Tony covered when healthy... He proved it last year and the beginning of this year until he kept wrecking.

He and Herling's will be battling next year with Tony in 3rd.

My opinion only!!!!

That orange pride video is insane. That to me as an MX fan is what I want to see week in week out.

Gasjer has unfortunately finally crashed and hurt himself something that AC and JH have been through and are back. Be Intresting to see wether he can make a comeback. You never know, look at Febvre he was on a mission then after matterly he has totally fallen off the band wagon. For me Herlings and Cairoli are the men to beat from now on.

Care to elebrate on how a TUE for asthma medication would help cope with the heat?

Also I'm assuming you have seen the paper work if you're making those types of comments.

Lung function improves by using those medication, that means more O² in your blood and more oxygen in your blood the better. Or do you think it is just plain stupid coincedence that Bradley Wiggins uses it too and that 30% of ALL 2008 Olympic medals were won by "asthmatic" people.

No coincidence at all, but have you seen Tony's TUE paperwork and are you positive he isn't asthmatic?

Regardless of ones oxygen intake your body needs to be acclimated to the heat while under stress and most importantly hydrated. I've seen athletes in phenomenal shape succumb to heat exhaustion simply because they never prepared under load in severe heat, or they didn't adjust their hydration preparation to account for the extra fluids lost. Tell me how more oxygen to your lungs can prevent that?

AC has had bad races in the past where he faded because of his Asthma, i have recollections of it being a long hot weekend and he had issues with the dust . Not sure where, maybe 2015.

Unsure about 2015 but he struggled with his asthma at the Thunder Valley MXdN.

King Toni wins his 82nd Gp at Portugal, showing Herlings a clean set of heels in the second Moto and doesn't even have to for the championship !!
All hail the king.

Nice ride, and another deserved GP win. Only fair that we mention and give credit to Herlings for catching him and passing him in the first Moto too though

Not in a championship he doesn't Silly

Very impressive from AC222 possibly even the best we have seen him. To dominate in such a strong field at his age makes him the King of MXGP.

Yes true, respect is due to Herlings the prince, one day to be king when he has learnt enough from Toni and he decides to abdicate and give the prince his rightful place on the throne.
It amazes me that Toni has no need to make such a statement with such a lead in the championship, perhaps he is only riding at 80% !?

Why do people always make excuses for cairoli when he loses? He wasn't riding at 80% in the first moto. The guy got two hole shots and went 2-1. Herlings didn't get two hole shots and went 1-2

I'm definitely looking forward to the mxdn, I can't remember seeing Cairoli riding this well before.
Let's hope Tomac answers his countries call this year.
