Wow.
Spent last weekend at "Classic Dirt 13". (A celebration of any pre '90 dirt bikes.)
The beautiful Conondale MX track, QLD Australia, was prime. Watered to perfection, with most of the track "sticky". (We were super lucky with the weather. Heavy rain forecast and some driving through floods to attend. It rained lightly for 5 mins on the Saturday night. Didn't stop the band. Track needed watering Sunday!)

Chuck Sun was the guest of honor. Cutting laps on old and new Huskys. Signing autographs, posing for pics and participating in a Q&A.
Daryl King, plus a heap of "Aussie Legends" were also in attendance.

A doco on Marty Moates winning the US GP was on high rotation in the food tent.
Get the picture?
A great event if anyone has the chance to attend!

Man, these vintage races look like a blast. Really cool to see big names coming out to support them.

I'm crazy with jealousy right about now. It's good to see Chuck in gear and looking healthy and young for his age. Is that Daryl on the Suzook?

Love the tricked-out Elsie also; "sano"!

Thanks for sharing the event!

It's me on the Suzuki. (I had one as my first full size bike in 1981, and again now.)

Nice pic of you then!

I don't recall the Kramer; I wonder if it had been available to Ake would he have changed brands? The swingarm even looks a bit Monocrossish. I recall his Yamaico and his partiality to those Maico forks.

Thanks for the further record of the event. Great pics and memorable hardware.
