Hey Whknuckle, check out page 128 on the April issue, that is the turn right after that uphill triple you were clearing last sunday. Cool picture of Steve Wise from the good ole days at Rio.

The dirt looked a lot better in 1977. LOL

I haven't seen that issue, I usually buy RX at newstands in airports but haven't gotten that one yet. The dirt out there is awesome when it's damp - like maybe this weekend...

Then my left wrist has a lot of explaining to do because it sure feels like it did.

Left or right handed?

Arm pump can also be easily explained after answering that question...

Uh, right. But I don't get arm pump, I jammed my wrist when I got into a big swap.

Very cool - that's the left at the top of the hill, two turns after the start. It's dug out a lot lower now because it's been there since the beginning. You should have seen DeCoster go through there in the mud at a TransAMA in about '75 or so - back in those days they used snow fencing, and he'd go through there pinned with his rear wheel right up against the fence, throwing mud everywhere. He looked like he was going about 100 mph.

Did you see Steve's reference to the heat and 45 minute motos? Those guys were studs riding that long in Houston summer humidity.
