RC has said "If you cant win, take out someone who can". Maybe this will come into play next weekend in Vegas in both classes. Anything could happen. that is why we run all the races, you never know. East vs West 250F class will screw up the 250 East Championship with the extra riders from the West series in the race. Both East and West Championships should be decided before Vegas, but we are dealing with the AMA here, so it should be a Cluster F&%* as usual. Vegas is just a stay safe race for the riders due to the Outdoor Nationals (Real Motocross) starting just a few weeks later. I hope we get to see a good battle for the Supercross Championships in both classes. Good luck to all the riders in Vegas and I hope nobody else gets hurt. Too many riders are getting injured now. The field has lost a lot of the top riders due to injury already as usual from the Supercross season. I am looking forward to the Outdoor Nationals to get started to see some real Motocross as it was meant to be.

Even Cianciarulo has a possible shot at the 250 East title (14 points) with this format if he were to win and have West Coast top 5 threats Hill/McElrath/Plessinger/Davalos/Forkner/Oldenburg/Decotis finish between him and Smith/Osborne/Savatgy. Not to mention the East Coast contenders like Craig and Ferrandis that could get in there as well.
