Spend a few years heavily involved at the pro level and you would feel different. All this integrity you talk about might still be going on at your local track but it's doesn't apply at this level of racing.

Yeah, maybe Hansen and Lawrence were channeling Mike Goodwin.

That may be true but you have to be allowed on the track to be fast so I would say that Jason's speed has been a little lacking lately.

Now, THAT I'd take exception to. If there's any sport with integrity, it's motocross. Everyone lines up behind the gate and the first guy to the checkered flag wins. Bikes don't really matter, teams don't really matter, sponsors don't really matter. The winner wins and everyone else gets to try again next week (and, when you're talking about Stewart winning, they get to try the next week, and the next, and the next...). Now, money might change that in the future, but so far so good.

Well, if he's talking about pit behavior, he sure has a point. But the sport itself is so simple and so primal that it's hard for it NOT to have integrity. Heck, there are practically no rules at all, and the few that do exist have minimal effect on the outcome.

The sport has rules; it’s just that the rules don’t apply to everyone. As far as “Paddock Rules” or pit areas, they to don’t apply to everyone but it would be a long and drawn out conversation and needs to be addressed on its own thread.

To get straight to the point, the fox is guarding the chicken house when it comes to the rules of this sport. That’s not what I call integrity.

you are right about that. I'm sure he will be back up to speed by atlanta though. We saw glimpses at A1 when he was the only lites rider in the 101 lap times.

I'd love to see him win the fucking thing, just totally dominate the race and win handily.

course the huge "sucking sound" coming from you closet jlaw lovers with "i told ya he could do it" in every other post would be equally entertaining and pathetic at the same time.

i heard from two TOP people in the racing industry say his agent is basically setting him up to be competely broke and busted in less than 3 years. the way the contracts are written up and worded i feel sorry for a kid like jason in that regard. dudes a dummy...not even street wise or he wouldn't be under the agent he has. after i heard that at a3 i felt for the kid...no shit.

the so called "friends" will skull fuck you up like no tomorrow in this sport. afuckingmazing.

doesnt jason live with sepkovic. That would be fucked up. If Jason can clean it up a little though i think it would be mute point because he is fast enough to get a real ride. obviously not with decoster but im sure not everyone hates him. is he basically letting jason on that everything he is doing is okay in order to then point something out in their contract that says it isn't okay?

I really want to see him do well.

But with Jason, you always have to expect the unexpected.

I hope he does well on a 450. he doesnt do anything much different the anyother pros have done in the past. the rental cars, partying, and fighting. I think hes good for the sport, at least hes not an other bible toteing crybaby like some of them. he makes the races exciting on and off the track.
Spot on mate... It would be as boring as watchin fuckin golf if there weren't guys like him

yeah it has........I think that if he gets consistently slower he'll diappear.
right now though he has flashes of blazing speed that show he can run the pace if all the other bullshit isnt involved.
My point is any other kid that has the same speed would eventually get the shot they deserve.....he's not keeping anyone from a ride.

Maybe he should move out of the 250 class for good and stop being a juvenile delinquent . Since he is a tough guy he should just stay in the 450 class if he is going ride the east coast 450 rounds . How do you think he will do ?

#1 Get his ass handed to him ?

#2 Top 10 ?

#3 Fail to qualify ?

I say #1
I agree but I think the reason he gets so much crap is because he has that opportunity and is pissing it away with all the extra-curricular stuff.

I have to say when I watched A-1 this year I thought he was really on the gas and I was looking forward to seeing him race.
I actually said to my son;
"Wow Lawrence seems to have gotten himself ready to run at the title"

It's just a waste of talent for him to not be out there racing because of the dumb stuff.

J Law was just walking by and a commotion started. He helped get it quieted and then left because he was shy and didn't want to be labeled a hero.

Acccording to Josh's side there is some truth to this he was walking by and got involved because of the commotion....weather he came in with the intent to get into a fight is between the people involved as they seem to be the only one's that really know what happened
