Thanks for the kind thoughts. Everyone is feelling a sense of disbelief throughout the country. Yet the very next day it rains...in the big fires some years ago it rained the day they should have been hit by the firestorm, this time they werent so lucky.

radio report said that the fires were moving extremely fast. People only had minutes (or less) to respond.

Stay safe.

Ya I feel for the people down in AUS. We got thru this every couple of years here in california. The wild fires are scary to say the least, especially when the wind is whipping around. Good luck to you guys down there!

Some people are already trying to tie the floods and fires to Climate Change.

Hey Paul,

Is any of these fires in or around the area where Lestor lives?

Hope all is well.

Fires are out near were Lestor lives, was touch and go for a bit but fortunately the heatwave predicted for Sunday didnt happen. I was out watering the bush and gutters around my house on saturday, theres too much fuel and very very dry to risk it.

Thanks for the info.

I talked to Lestor this afternoon and all is fine. He said it was very hot there right now.

Yeah it is very heavy duty over east, 181 dead now. They suspect maybe a few arsonists started some of the fires. I hope they find them and they all get multiple life sentences.

Unreal, hard to fathom somebody is actually doing this on purpose. Our hopes and prayers are with our aussie buds.
