What about him almost taking that guy out heading into the left hander? 1:28. Hit his bars.

"Almost taking that guy out"? Please.

Never mind.

As to the question of Blake not saying much...he usually doesn't. He's not exactly the top guy I would pick to interview about technical bike stuff. But, I suppose they paid him to look good on the bike, and give his opinion. He did just that...just some of us would have preferred to hear it.

It's open practice. No need to get that close to others especially if you are going twice their speed.
Gotta look cool for the camera bro

I couldn't agree more. He wasn't even paying attention during the interview and had to either ask what the question was or repeat it to make sure he had it right. It seemed like it could careless about the bike, and was there to collect a little money.

Agree 100%. Just no effort to even give a shit about how he answers the questions, and I got a super high-and-mighty vibe from watching him speak.

Either that or he actually is baked

And just for the record I'm totally against how he slammed that dudes arm, I'd have been fuckin furious.

Ya hittin that dude in the turn was BS he knew the Alta can't be heard like he mentioned in the interview and replayed the incident. The guy was holding his line, Blake should have went around him not snaked his line.

Man I duno I really enjoyed it. I think his answers were really straight foreward and honest..... The only thing I kept giggling thinking about, was like well it was Easter. Jesus is out at the track riding the new Alta being all chill doing an interview for racer x about it! Laughing Laughing Laughing

I could see how he might not be everyone's cup of Joe, but he seems really cool me! The interview in general was interesting and something different. Cool

It's Brake Wharton... Dude is baked, probably thinking about music or art. Also, I've said this once or twice before, the Wharton's are concerned about a lot of things, money not being one of those concerns...

I thought it was about on par with every other interview I've seen with pro MX riders..but that bar is pretty low...but I didn't think it was as bad as many here are saying. Maybe I watched a different interview?

Agree. That was a weird interview. Blake seemed uninterested and there was very little information around comparison to a gas bike. Wondered if this was the unedited version.id be pissed if I was Alta

Between that and the RV video they have not done a great set of videos
When compared to previous videos this one really is poor.

Maybe Blake was keeping an eye out for the guy that he clipped which is why he was looking around a lot. But then again if I was daft enough to ride that close to someone much slower than me I'd do the decent thing and go and apologise straight away after the session...
