But what do you guys like to see for pictures when you are looking at a ad?? Or what pictures to help sell?? Or just general stuff to describe the bike

Close up pics of the radiators. Radiator fins tell the story of how a bike has been cared for and maintained.

When I sold bikes I took pics from all 4 sides, top, chain and sprockets, exhaust, tires, and any other thing that stands out. You want to "showcase" whatever you are selling so a prospective buyer will want to at least contact you and hopefully look at it. If there are any problems be upfront about them but its always best to fix before advertising. Nothing worse than going to look at something and it not be in the condition it was advertised in. Also, make sure the airfilter is clean and the oil fresh. If advertising on CL delete and repost every 48 hours to keep it toward the top or on the first page. Lastly, post it in several cities in your surrounding area for maxim coverage.

Good luck.....

A clean background will help in selling the bike. When I see a bike listed, and see a bunch of clutter or trash it's an automatic no go. Having a wrench on hand if potential buyer wants to look at the filter is a bonus. I sold a bike on this site to avoid the CL scams. Good luck.

I always post a sick pic of me riding it. Throwing nasty whips. Makes people want it more knowing that's how good they could be.

I rarely buy second hand but honesty and clear pics (even if its of wear)
In the market for an old 125 and its amazing how many pieces of shit have fresh top and bottom end rebuilds with less than an hour since the rebuild haha.

Change your ignition/clutch covers and add $500 to your price. "Very low hours" lol

Always made a point of having fresh grips, levers and if it's sloppy, a clutch perch with lubed/new cables. I'd take my race numbers off and throw on sideplates with clean backgrounds.

Make it looked after, not thrashed and not busy.

Make it look as stock as possible. Monster Energy stickers all over it or even too many stickers on it, and polished aluminum frames or parts tell me "teenager owned and poorly maintained". Anything that looks like it was owned by a teen, I pass.

I want it to look stock and I want "Vet owned and professionally maintained." If you are too lazy to maintain a $15 chain guide, I know you sure as hell did not do any top ends.

I agree and would take any numbers or stickers off. I like pics of bikes outside with good lighting. Also if you have it, "title in hand" always works for me. And don't mention how fast it is I hate when people write that!

Don't post any pictures of the bike in front of the garage, especially not with garage doors open. Makes it easier for the thieves to locate the bike...
