To be honest I dont see the problem with MXsim it looks legit I just dont have the time to learn the game but it looks the most rewarding and skill based MX game I've seen, The race link of MXsim posted up earlier was cool the competition seems real.

I still havent been impressed by mxgp. I get stoked everytime I hear of a new release but when I play it Im just disappointed. I like MX vs ATV more but there is a lot of room for improvement. I want a good balance of sim and arcade. More sim than arcade.

MX Sim is legit, Vital just hates when it gets brought up because it's not their type of game. Most people here in this thread want a realistic-arcade style game with great graphics and licensing that they can hop right into and do cool whips in, preferably for consoles.

Which is totally fine. Not everyone wants to put effort into a game, some people don't have as much time to put into games and just want to have something to sit down and play without much effort. I totally get that and respect that.

But to call MX Sim dogshit just because you barely scratched the surface of its potential is just silly. It wouldn't be nearly as popular as it is if it sucked.

As for installing all the bike models and skins and tracks, I don't really know how you mess that up. It all goes in one folder, your personal folder. Pin the folder to your task bar, download stuff, drag and drop. That's it. The files themselves don't even have to be in the right folder, as long as it's all in the personal folder. I don't think it gets any easier than that.

For the 99th friggin' time....MX Sim is fine but it gets damn old that ANY time another game is mentioned Sim fans feel the need to butt in and say their game is God Almighty. It's not. Until it actually has programmed AI it is all but worthless to a lot of people. I bought the disc version way back when Josh released it. It's fine but needs a lot. But this is not about Sim.

It just gets old. I mean seriously. So predictable.

This is about Milestone releasing their brand new game, their 4th MX game and 3rd in the MXGP series. Can we please not turn this into a Sim topic....again. Your game is fine. Ok?? Congrats. But some could care less and the community hurts the game as much as they help it. But this is not about that game. Not. At. All. Please, give it a rest and let us talk about new and different MX games. Thank you.

I just started MX Sim and enjoy it but I agree. Let it rest dudes.

We could just start to ignore them and maybe they will go away?

A few years ago i did read a story about they lost the codes of Reflex so that's why they had to develop the game from nothing or something? The rider gameplay should be the same as reflex. Along with the amazing looking tracks it would be sold out very fast

For real though mxgp 3 could be legit as they come. Loved 2 aside from some funky physics but once you get used to it the game was way more fun.

Different game developers. And reflex wasn't nearly that good. I still play it from time to time. It's fun, but MXGP is far better.

Do you play game first person view? the other view is almost unplayable, the physics are way off. Also what settings? because im really would like to have the same enthusiasm you have towards this game

The 450 supermoto bikes on Ride2 sound pretty good. If they use the same soundtrack for MXGP it will be good, or at least use the same technique to capture the noise

I played mxgp1 in first person. Not mxgp2. I found mxgp2 to be killer, you can actually utilize the outside lines, but hitting a tight inside is good too. The tracks are great. Sx is fun, but not perfect. Biggest downside is the follow the leader AI (which wasn't a problem in the first one) and some random crashes. Oddly enough, random crashes is why I don't play reflex very much, so that bugged me that MXGP2 had that problem.

I don't know why people bash the developers so much. It's not like we have a whole bunch of moto games. I'm just happy there's people pushing the boat and doing something good for the sport as a whole

I kind of hope they don't do change it dramatically. Mxgp is a fantastic game. Yes ok the air physics arnt amazing, but you can work it so you can pull some cool whips. The ground physics, handling etc and spot on to be honest. Only downside is when your on the inside of someone it's a crash guaranteed. But we can't complain too much. A few little changes here and there will be nice, like sounds etc. Also think the weather will be a nice addition if it's properly done. Overall im looking forward to it.

Ugh I HATE when I go to pass someone on the inside in MXGP2. It's like you instantly tip over. Other than that, I like the progress Milestone is making with each release. I mean, look at FIM mud, and then look at MXGP2. Huge improvement. I think the games will get better and better with each release. We should all be glad that we at least have options now in the MX gaming market. I can't wait for MXGP3.

It is a huge flaw. If you lean into them a little, you can get away with it. Very frustrating tho.

Nope, wasn't an issue in the first at all. In my extremely limited understanding of video game physics, I think it's an unintended byproduct of loosening up the bikes a bit and making them more nimble.

Holy cow, thank god mute exists. It's one step forward and two steps back. I really do not understand how certain aspects get worse simply because they focus on making other aspects better.

I wouldn't beat on it too much yet. It's always the same, I honesty don't know why they release gameplay teasers, as it's a totally unfinished product that probably does them more harm then good. They will have it all polished up by may, and i for sure am confident a lot of us will like it more than the others once we clock a few hours on it
