Savatgy, Hill, Osborne would all fit into that 10-15 place quite easily next year as well. Which on recent form is where he is these days.

Guys with the swagger of a contender and the speed of a main event guy is what really gets on the fans and other riders nerves I think. You can't aggressively race your way backwards (think Friese). This is what Barcia has been doing this year. Maybe he finds the speed again, maybe he doesn't. But if he doesn't you can guarantee he'll be looking for a new ride, and perhaps a whole new paddock of riders to try and befriend.
wilson ,weimer and Bogle are not as good as him at the moment . He is not long back from injury he is already beating these guy s, He was on the floor at the start last night finished 12th thats not bad imo . He won outdoor races and finished on the poduim last year .which these guys have never done .

i get that people dont like him ,but his results are nt as bad as people are making out . last 3 race she has been nearly last off the start .

i still think outdoors he will win a moto or two and def get podiums . i really think wilson ,weimer and Bogle can not win moto s .

Just curious as to what makes you think he will win a moto or two? He didn't win any last year and didn't even seem to be on the same level as Tomac, and no one was on Roczen's level. I think he's won a handful of moto's outdoors, and to give him full credit he worked Dungey at Red Bud that year. Not trying to talk shit or whatever, I used to be a Barcia fan and still would be if it wasn't for his attitude. I just think he's slipped back to just be a podium contender and top 5's (still great results) but race wins are a bit of a stretch for me.

Agree. Dude acts a bit immature and people rush into the forum to bash him for (literally) anything he does. From all indications I have heard, his big money Yamaha/JGR contract is GONE and he's riding for more of a performance based deal this year with the switch to Suzuki.

Wilson definitely has some skills when he's healthy but Barcia is going to be waxing Bogle and Weimer outdoors.

They're jus' sayin', in their infinite wisdom and intellectually superior way, that they are so removed from the ways of us regular folk and they can't understand how a guy could be pumped on winning a race in-front of TENS IF THOUSANDS of fans.

Now that I'm done with all he sarcasm...

WINNING -ANY- race, against any of those guys, is a victory.
Yep, absolutely--appreciating life and celebrating LCQ wins are the same thing for a factory rider. Kinda like when Dungey said "there is more to life than riding dirt bikes" on the podium last week while trying to console himself in defeat.

Because everybody just hates on him for everything, like whipping during a LCQ. Here is a small list, that I bet a lot of riders wish they were on.

In 2015 at Red Bud, Justin Barcia joined an elite list in the record books and became the fourteenth rider in AMA history who was able to win at least twice in all four categories in AMA SX/MX: 250 and 450 supercross and in 250 and 450 motocross (a distinction riders could only manage after the 125/250 SX Class was introduced in 1985). The other riders are Ricky Carmichael, Jeremy McGrath, James Stewart, Ryan Dungey, Ryan Villopoto, Kevin Windham, Mike LaRocco, Mike Kiedrowski, Jeff Emig, Damon Bradshaw, Doug Henry, Ken Roczen, and Eli Tomac.

Barcia whips his way around the track the whole time during a race. Why should crossing the finish line of an lcq be any different. His celebration was probably due to the fact he earned the 19th gate pick.

If I won a Supercross 450 LCQ, I would find a way to bring it up every single day. At the bar, funerals, local dealership etc

Did Jordan Smith whip it when he was winning the LCQ or just when he won the Main?

Serious question. Does he get a bonus for an lcq win?

It could be a sign of the new peak in his career.
Did Tiger Woods throw fist pumps when he made the cut for the US open?
For Barcia and the alleged level he is at, patting yourself on the back for an LCQ win could give the impression that it's as good as it's going to get.
If he's that pumped about the LCQ, maybe that's the new mission accomplished?

He won a heat race at Daytona two weeks prior. A LCQ win is not his "new" peak. The dude was having fun riding his dirt bike

I'm happy any time anyone wants to throw down some style. Practice, heats, LCQ...

Yes. He gets to race the main event. He'd have gotten the same bonus if he finished in the next three spots.

The JGR team hasn't had much to celebrate this season... Wouldn't surprise me if someone even said something to Barcia about showing some style if he crossed the line in 1st, for the exact reason I mentioned above.
Barcia's paychecks are sized for main event wins, not for winning an LCQ. That money isn't coming out of your pocket, so you have no problem with him whip'n for an LCQ win. However, if it was, I doubt you would be so stoked about it. Just say'n...

Don't forget that Wilson is a former champion in the 250 class. You're probably right about Weimer and Bogle but Wilson has some serious speed outdoors.

Well i no longer care for JB51 but it's not because RD5 wins and JB51 doesn't. It's because he's a little douche bag coming back from injury, much slower than the rest of the guys his first rounds back, and what does he do? Cause absolute mayhem by slamming guys after they pass him and cross jumping just to stay in front of them. That's pathetic when you're battling for 15th on a factory bike.

Those guys have been racing all year. Whats this JB 5th-6th race? I think he will be beating all those guys this summer. Dude will get it together & be top 5 this summer. I do have a feeling we are going to see great things out of Wilson this summer too. Would love to see him get on the box!
