Seems appropriate to me. They weren't previously in trouble, and if I read that right, the fines are cancelled out if they don't violate the probation.

Hopefully everyone involved will learn something about professionalism and there won't be problems like this again. (I'm not holding my breath but I can hope.)

I was thinking the same thing, consistency but didn't JL have to pay the fine in the end because of breaking probation ? or no ?

They only have to pay the $10k fine "if" they get in trouble before May 4, 2009

So no real punishment......unless they get in trouble again.
