Always liked Andy, more power to him spending more time with his family because they grow up fast!

I had no issues with Andy on RDL, however I think I will really DBlair a whole lot more, especially if they let him be himself. At the end of the day it doesnt really matter, "I just want to see the motocross stuff" I would watch RDL with the audio off if any announcer bothered me that much. My biggest issue with RDL is the feed SUCKS DONKEY NUTS and the MX vs ATV commercials. The worst POS game ever made that wont die.

Oh, and whenever someone who has to go out to work one day a week says they want more time at home with family....I immediately roll my eyes. Its none of our business and I really dont care but thats the oldest trick in the book that nobody can criticize or question. Most of America gives up 50 hours a week 50 weeks out of the year out of the house and SX is only 17 weeks working a single 24 hour shift. The digital part can be done from a home office. Either Bowyer has enough funds to be retired or something else happened that we do not know about, not that its our business anyways.

I was fine with Bowyer, even happier with Blair.

Now just fix the feed or it doesnt matter if you put Miss SX nude on there.

My Digital Marketing position at Feld has grown too quickly to be on the road anymore, plus my oldest daughter starts "Soccer Saturday" next week. Tough decision, but one I was fortunate enough to make on my own.

I'm proud of my work on RDL, but I'm really stoked for Daniel. He's going to be great right out of the gate.
Andy,
I'm a big fan. I was first introduced to you through your work on RacerX. I enjoyed reading your work & was bummed when you left for RDL. I was full on ready to boycott RDL if there was more to the story. I wish you the best & hope to see you at the races. Thank you for all of your years of entertainment. Congratulations to the #14 as well.

Great job on RDL Andy. I enjoyed the broadcast he did with Jim Holley.
I think it is a good decision he made to choose his children over his work if he is able. Children grow so fast, and we only get one go around. They really need the investment of their parents to help them grow into mature responsible adults. I hope he is happy with his decision.

You guys can choose to believe what you want, but I talked to him before the press conference last week, and he was pretty well stuck on the story that he wanted to spend more time at home. Apparently soccer season is starting for one of his kids soon and he wants to be there, as well as the digital side taking more of his time.
I hope so. I'm a Bowyer fan. As a dad who travels & has kids who play sports, I can relate. Your kids are only young...

This is true. Work is overrated and kids are not.

Andy,

Congrats on that move. Announcing is fun and going to the races is a blast, but raising your kids is even more of a blast and it happens so fast... That's why I quit my TV gig -- loved the work and the exposure helped the magazine but Vance was starting to hide my book bag every Friday because he didn't want me to go!

Good luck on your new gig, and I thought you did great on the shows. Enjoy raising those girls.

Anyone who has done something in front of a camera has respect for you my man. Don't listen to these haters who probably never did and never will have to host a program or even present themselves publicly. Good luck with the family stuff and I wish you the best on your future endeavors.

just pulled the switch myself. 21 years in a field that had plenty of overtime. always missing family things, kid stuff. leaving dinners, movies, etc..cant go, on call again. oldest is in college, middle one is driving and the youngest is almost to know it all age, lol. it finally clicked. I can make more money but I cant buy time.. soak it up Andy. I know I'm going to.

Good luck Andy, funny how all the haters went full silent once you replied to the topic.

I think you do a good job on RDL but admire your choice to stay home and raise your family. Financially wise Im a very blessed person, but it came at the cost of my childrens time, time i will never get back.

100% clippy clipped. He was practically beating off about this job 2 months ago. Now he's focusing on his kids? He prob didn't know they played soccer until just now.

Is there a reason you didn't quote him? Perhaps you prefer to just talk shit about the person instead of to them? Pretty lame move dude.
