Outstanding Jeffro!

Since you have several more stories, might I humbly suggest a new thread. Likely others will join in and you'll eventually have started a HOF thread!

Yeah sorry for the long winded story. On what this thread was created for , the angry flagger guy....i understood why he could have been a little heated. That kind of stuff can happen 20 times a day and a lot of the time it's repeat offenders. Some guys will ride there enough that they think they own the place...and pretty much do what they want.

Didn't mean to derail the thread in any way. Sorry op.

No problem man. And I agree with Matt, you should start a new thread talking about your funny moto stories.

Who would've thought a D racer getting yelled at for 5 seconds for making a dumb move on the track would garner this much attention on Vital. Laughing

Thank you for that story Jeffro. That's some great bench racing there.

To me it looks like the flagger was fine, a little angry but rightly so. The rider was at fault, he could have hurt someone.

He wasn't angry, very justified in his tone and content! In the Military we call that our "Command Voice" it is used to appropriately add emphasis to the importance to what is coming out of our mouths! Unfortunately most of kids these days have never been talked to in that tone and think everyone is being mean to them and then run back and hide under mommy's skirt even at the age of 26!!!

At first I was thinking it was a little overboard but after jeffro's story I kinda switched sides. I can't imagine how much stress it would be dealing with beginner class riders all day especially the ones that had more balls than skill! Scary to say the least and I would Prob be a little on edge. Def understand the repeate offender thing also as I see mr cool guys at the track all the time

Still have some awesome memories from the indoor , and a lot of really bad ones too. I'm pretty sure I've seen every bone in a person's body break at one time or other. Lots of them I wish I could take back ( never seen ). And yes , the new beginners gave me the worst problems. Everyone with a little experience understood what and what not to do. The " new " beginners scared the hell out of me most times. Went home after closing up many nights , thinking about turning in my resignation latter in the morning.

BTW....this wasn't just a normal AX track. The building was like 50,000 sq ft , with the construction offices at one end. I worked for my buddy Rick for about 20 years , and it was his construction business that paid to build the place. I Ran about 30 employee's in the construction for a long time , and he kept my pay the same when i moved to running the track. It was awesome and sometimes horrifying.
