Opinions on these cheap boots I bought. ..

Lots of people buy boots for "comfort and flexability", im totally opposite. I LOVED my jet boots... stiff, light, thin, and great support - shitty ankle hinges that broke eventually.

I bought (yes bought) a set of Fly sectors (tcx boot), and have 60ish hours on them. For the money (on sale right now... you can likely get a local dealer to get you a set for 250) they are a great boot. It took me 15 hours to truly break in and get a feel for them...but in 2 hours I felt they were fully "broken in"

They size tight, Im always a comfy 11 and If I did it over Id have bought a 12.

They are tall in the toe box, I dont like that much - biggest complaint.
Soles last well enough, and overall good support, ive run over my feet and had plenty of dabs... no issues to date.

No comparison to the sg12, not an astar guy, but at 600+ those are tough pill to swallow for the monthly weekend warrior.

Good Boots will save your ankles and feet in situations a poor boot wont, for 350 retail I personally feel the fly sector is about the best value boot you can buy that offers premium protection... with less than premium weight or total function but totally usable.

They feel alright to me, but not as comfortable as the cheap thor racing boots I used to have. Are these decent boots for the price I paid?I'm just curious since I know nothing about boots. I know the color sucks but they didn't have black

Thanks for the replies, guys. Truthfully, I ride so slowly that Im not in big fear of big foot injuries, but obviously they can happen at any speed. That being said, as of now these boots are good and stiff and support pretty well. The buckles suck though. I can tell theyre not nearly as good as even the cheap thor boots i used to own. I think Ill use them til I go to a dealer that stocks boots and shop around.
