When FELD goes to more rounds a season, where do you wanted them to be?! I personally think that Europe would be cool. But to be honest I don't know if the stadiums will be full. So if I look at the US then a return to the LA Colosseum would be cool to remember where the sport started. Off course with a up and down thingy around the arches. The stadium of the Miami Marlins or the new Soccer stadium that Beckham wanted to build in Miami (is that already done?). Just to give the Florida crowed also a real SX not only Daytona.

L.A. Coliseum has since moved in the seats (eliminating the Olympic track), which lowered the playing field commensurately. The available space is a lot smaller; it wouldn't be the same place.

Miami is a bad place for most sporting events, the Dolphins have a hard time selling out, then when they do, most the crowd doesnt show up till after the 1st quarter. Marlin, they feel great if they get 10k fans in the stadium on a Saturday night. The Heat and Panthers are not setting attendance records either.

The few times Miami held a supercross, it would be pushing it to say 25k people showed up, then the entire track was just a sand section. Watch the 89 Miami supercross where Bradshaw had the ride of his life and look at the sand.

Tampa or Orlando are mush better venues for Florida.

Ok, that is info I didn't know. The Asian market (Philippines, Thailand, Thaiwan, China,...) can be interesting too for FELD because if you can sell the TV-rights to a Asian TV station! And some of those countries have massive stadiums!

ANZ Stadium (Australia - Sydney)

Allianz Stadium - (Australia - Sydney)

How cool would that be for Chad Reed and his fans?! Both stadiums are at the same place.

There's a lot less room in L.A. Coliseum than there once was, which is a good thing for USC football. You can see the size of the original playing field/running track in the background, under the arches.

Gonna be extremely hard if they really want to. This pushes the season back too far to where football OTAs are starting up and obviously baseball is in full swing. Unless they want to do more tracks like Daytona at some sort of speedway, I just don't see how it can be done. Truth is, SX has to work around the big money makers, and the way the season is how they do it.

Nashville. It's close to a few good population centers and the moto scene in TN is healthy. I'd love to see it there, and I'm sure they tried but maybe it's something to do with venue.

Nashville is cool town, the Titans stadium should have no problem holding a SX. Last time we were in town the were having the NHL all stars game, lots of people on the streets. My guess given its an open stadium they would have to have near the end of the season like Foxboro.

50 states. 52 weeks in a year. A week off for Christmas and another week off for Easter leaves 50 weeks to race. Coincidence? I think not.

I like the idea a few people have had about maybe some other countries, but unless its Canada I think you loose almost all privateers for that round. They have a hard enough making it from one round to the next as it is. I think there are plenty of college football stadiums that are vacant all but maybe 7-8 weekends a year during college football and maybe the odd concert or something. Does it get to the point to where places like the Dallas area might get 2 rounds or Atlanta get 2 rounds. Or does it get to where I think arenacross used to be and have a Friday, Saturday or Saturday, Sunday double header.

I think Houston has been off the map because last year they had the Final 4, and this year the Superbowl. HOPEFULLY next year it'll be back in the normal rotation.

But then all the riders would be choking too much...since that seems to happen in that stadium....

It'll be way too hard for privateers to make all rounds if races are in other countries. Think Dean Wilson this year. He never could have done what he's done to earn a factory ride.
