This bike should have one of these. Almost 5hp through the meat of the powerband. If you're interested, email me at:

Keithpeterson75@gmail.com

I'll tell you more about it & where you can get it.

Very nice bike!

I got a few suggestions for your build man. Only seeing as your basically going all out on this build.

Swap out your front and rear brake lines for moto stuffs "pro line" brake lines. They are all black, use 2mm tubing for stronger brake power, and are lot lighter then regular 3mm braided steel brake line tubing.

He sells them for suzuki, he just doesn't have his site updated.

Drop the ebc front rotor and rear rotor for a set of moto master flame rotors. The front rotor and caliper adaptor bracket is almost 3/4 of a lb lighter then the ebc. Plus the weight you saved with the motostuff caliper.

You getting decals for this bike soon!?

Thanks for your input. I was never keen on the EBC kit. I had a few questions in regards to my front brake set up today, so I gave Motostuff a call and spoke to Scott. I must say, without any doubt, Motostuff and Scott provide the best customer service I have ever experienced! Scott answered all of my questions and got me lined up with their 280 mm front brake kit!

Yeah bro Scott is a legend! I was on a mission to get factory stoppers for my RM125, he was pretty helpful, text me to make sure I was ordering the right stuff and even wrote me a nice hand written note on my receipt when got my parts in the mail which I have never had any body do before! I was one of his first Australian customers and the first to run a full front (minus calliper as they didn't have them back then) setup on an RM 2 stroke.

I was talking to Scott today. He said if I could get 5 buyers he would do a small production run of rm 125/ rm 250 moto stuff rear discs to match the front discs. I need to order 2 rear disc for 2 wheel sets. So that puts us at 2/5. kwenske321, could I count on you for one? Slosh?

What is the cost of the front (with bracket) & rear rotor kits? I'm interested in a set.

The front rm 2 stroke rotor kit is just the reg price of a yzf front rotor and rmz caliper adaptor bracket.

To get the rear rotor cost the same as whatever his regr rear rotors cost is. We need 5 buyers tho. We have 3 of the 5. You in to make 4 for the rear rotor?

Yes count me in. I'll ask a buddy who will probably take one also. He is done with work shortly. I'll let you know on #5.

He hasn't added the RM stuff to the site yet. I assume they will be the same price as the other model rear discs.

Scott told me it would be about 2 to 3 months for the rear rotors tho. Drawing up the design is not the problem. It's just not feasible to machine and heat treat 5 to 10 rotors individually. He does them in batches of 200 to 300. So we give Scott a deposit and when he puts his next batch of rotors through he adds our 1 off rm 2 stroke rear disc rotors to the part lot.

I have the Motostuff 280mm front and lightweight rear rotors on my CRF450. Excellent quality. One thing though 280mm is a bit much braking force such that many top MX pros don't go bigger than 270mm. When I first put on the 280mm, I found I was scrubbing too much speed when I used the front brake in corners. I got used to that and adjusted by using less brake in corners than I used to. However, when your arms get tired and you use the front brake to scrub a little speed in a fast sweeper.. it will put you on face in a blink of an eye. I probably would not do 280mm again and if you do go that big, I highly recommend a system that gives you very good feel/ modulation which stock Japanese calipers don't really have. I tried the Ride Engineering billet front caliper and was very surprised how much it improved feel/ modulation and made the 280mm disc easier to live with. Otherwise, I would go for a 270/ 260mm rotor.

Okay guys. Everyone needs to call Scott and place a deposit for the rear rm 125/rm250 rotor. Also does anyone from the states have an oem rear rotor that they can send Scott to use for drawing up the design. Someone needs to send him a rotor.

As I mentioned above will prob be a 2-3 month wait till next batch of rotors is made but we need to get the ball rolling so they can draw up a design for the rotor.

Lemme know how you all make out.

Yeah I called Scott last week. He asked, and I sent him the link to this thread and he said he would reach out to those of us who wanted one. Maybe we should start another thread for those interested in getting in on the group purchase for the rear disc.

Just got the final proof from Bryar at 180 decals today! Obviously the bike is not an RMZ but with the shrouds and rear number plate mods you get a good idea of how it will look.

Complete at last! I rode it a couple weeks ago and finished putting the graphics on tonight. The bike absolutely rips! The suspension is unreal and the transmission coupled with the super finish and microblue shifts like butter. This bike tracks straighter and turns better than my 2016 450 SXF Factory Edition! Its a damn shame Suzuki took these bikes out of production. Still waiting on the blue Zeta axle blocks and some blue Ride clamps. Enjoy!

Looks sick man!

I like the Santa Cruz screaming hand. I was just telling a buddy (pretty good skater) of mine to do the Rob Roskop face on his kawi shrouds.

Where is that tank from again? I'm not feeling going through the thread to find it out.

Beautiful build. I'm in the middle of doing up my 2006. Got carried away & have all sorts of titanium & aluminum bolts, weight reduction on things, trick coatings, etc. Now I feel I may need that tank to finish it off proper. How is that tank (weight wise) compared to the stocker?

Nice! You know the hand! One of my all time favorite logos!

The tank is from Xfun in Italy.

Lol yeah I thought that was a pretty cool choice for graphics.

Thanks for the direction on the tank.
