Anybody else think it was crap that we didn't get to watch Reed and Dungey cross the line because we were watching 7th & 8 th place? WTF? They did that on a couple of the heat races as well, they were following riders that were not in transfer positions instead of watching the lead group. Am I thinking about this wrong or what?

Reed was a straitaway ahead of Dungey 3.3 seconds on the last lap and 4.6 at the finish.

He didn't jump the finish line jump and land on the podium. I'm sure it looked a lot like the 20 times he did it before.

I'd rather see racing.
Yea you're right, Reed wasn't racing, nor was Dungey or Tomac, they were window shopping at Macy's on their way to the podiums.

Nope....I'd rather watch a close race farther back, than watch the leaders cross the line one at a time....but that's just me.

In other news ... Tomac and team Kawi killed it and got a total of what, 3 seconds or so of TV coverage for their brand and other sponsors.

Dude the cameras couldn't keep up with him he was going so fast, so they settled with 7th and 8th

Personally it's always frustrated me that the cameras are always on the leaders, even when they are checking out.
It was nice to see them giving some of the other riders some camera time.

I can't read a single sponsor on the bikes during the race, and barely anything on their jerseys other than the gear brand name and sometimes the OEM, but that's mostly because I already know what they are.........

So your point is moot (or mute for those who get confused on the proper usage).
