I would be very interested in a ride report, as you rode the bike last year with the air fork, and now you have the A-kit, and the mapping done.
As of now, I have ridden the bike twice. Both outings have been positive and I have came away happy with the bike. So far all I have done to the suspension is go 2 stiffer on fork compression and 2 slower on rebound, mainly due to riding deep muddy tracks. I've set the sag at 104mm and forks dropped flush in the clamps, I originally had the forks 5mm up but I felt as though the front end was loading too heavily and I wanted to slow the handling a little.
The bike still feels a little of the rigid side, the suspension works well and absorbs the bumps, but the bike still gives plenty of feedback. The chassis and suspension definitely like to be ridden hard, the faster you go the better it works!
The motor is fantastic, the mellowed initial throttle openings are noticeable, especially yesterday when riding a very rutted and technical track. The bike can be ridden smoothly but has a strong hit when required. There is no hesitation when you crack the throttle and the bike pulls smooth and hard throughout the entire rev range.
I want to work on the front brake, its good but I want more, so will try different pads, CRF set up and maybe a new brake line as well. I'd also like to keep shaving weight were possible, there are a fair few engine bolts left to swap to Ti and I would love to get a lightweight seat foam too.
They are Renthal McGrath/Short bend which is a 999 in Twinwall or 821 in Fatbar (what I'm running)
They are the lowest bend Renthal make. I'm 5 10'' so not short but I love this bend. I sometimes bump them up with 5-10mm spacers under the handlebar mounts for sandy tracks to get my weight back a bit.
So I will weigh them all and half it to get a fairly good estimate of how much I've saved.
The only piece that is missing is the "Factory Suzuki front numberplate".

I tried desperately to get one, R-Tech don't sell direct so I tried to get one through a UK R-Tech dealer and had no luck. I don't think anyone has one in the UK yet, not that I know of anyway.
I will get one in the future when they are more easily available for sure!
Go with Nissin pads, they're cheapest if you order them for a Honda such as any CRF450.

I appreciate the advice with the brakes. I will start with the Honda Nissin pads as this is the cheapest place to start. But I would like to get a CRF set-up after all the good reviews I've read.
KooyaKooya - Yes unfortunately the RMZ got the brake update in 2016 so my '15 still has the previous style caliper. It's definitely bulky and overbuilt compared to the newer RMZ and CRF versions.
Thanks for the info on the brake lines too, replacing the stock ones is on my long term list of things I want to do to the bike. So will definitely look into the MotoStuff ones when the time comes!

I bought them used, I had them around 5 years but didn't use them much as I had about 5 sets of wheels
I still have a few suzuki discs/sprockets/chain sliders if they're any use to you?
I put a season on the front wheel last year and it hardly touched it, I think gold rims wear far better than black ones

I've emailed them and they don't ship to customers outside of Italy. It has to be purchased via an R-Tech dealer.
