Cool article on DV, i have to agree with pichon its going to be tough for him. i doubt he can crack top 10 more than few times. The gps are faster and longer motos than the american championship. GOD LUCK DV

Thanks for the link...good read.

It will be interesting to see him in the GP's.
I really hope he surprises everyone with many podiums and is a contender for the MX1 championship.

DV will do fine and will leave it all on the track and he'll feel good about it too. all you can ask really.

it sure beats the hell out of the so called euro elite coming over here and getting their ass's kicked or worse....chronically injured.

DV will hold his own back in Europe. He has been there a time or 2 before and knows what it will take again to get back out and be competitive. Now as for Pourcel I think he has become more down to earth than before. Many said he was too cocky and a bit arrogant as well but seeing him last weekend and talking to him for a sec I think that has changed now. You have to be humble here in the states to gain respect and fans. Best of luck to both guys for this year!!

MC's most likeable trait....humble ! it's a good formula to have. JMB was hunble but because his english was no so good he was thought to be arrogant, he wasn't. Now Pichon on the other hand asshole and portrayed one, not many fans.

How long are the motos in the gps? 40 plus 2? if so he better get his ass in shape, those gp guys are raw outdooors no doubt. Good luck to DV anyways. I say he runs 7-10.

Pichon was young when he used to race in USA. He has changed (I would say "a lot"), now...

Odd, I was in hibernation during his era in America. Here in Europe I feel he has always been accurate and well spoken. Some might feel he's disturbing because he says what's on his mind without any popularity filter. But that's something good I think?

Interesting that DV said he is training again.. i take it that means he is training harder than he was in the US the last couple of years.. he will do well top 10s maybe a top 5 here and there but 15 guys could win a moto - cairoli, leok, strijbos, mellotte, swanepole, pourcel, coppins, phillipearts, de reuver, mackenzie, ramon, de dycker,, naglem barragan, desaille... and thats not even counting dv!! it is unreal deep next season
