Used to love this show, I grew up watching it and just made me even more excited about riding bikes. My favorite episode was the one with the kid on the mini bike, I think it was an Italajet?

I watch them now & then on the firestick. They filmed a few of them at Indian dunes.

Jesus, when I saw that scene in the trailer, I just thought they were jumping MX bikes with a bit of extra plastic. Lance Coury is an even bigger baddass now that I know he did that on a freaking Ducati.

No kidding! I figure it was a made up MX bike but nope. I rode a Hypermotard and it was very dirt bike like, except with 100 HP and a blast to ride.

Hope it doesn't end up being another "charlies angels"

And holy cow, ponch and jon must have been pulling in $250k/year.

One week they are motoing, the next they are figure 8 car racing, the next hang gliding, the next drag racing, the next spear fishing, then speedway bikes, then ..............

And we are talking 250 in late 70s early 80s money.... thats like eleventy seventy three in todays money!

loved that show growing up! i still to this day when passing a truck on the freeway with an odd load of pipes or wood stacked funny think the load is going to come off crush cars and jack knife causing a huge 30 car pile up with explosions!!!!

I also say, hey look its ponch and john, when i see 2 motor CHP guys on the road... but who doesnt right?
