You actually ride? That's the first time I've ever heard someone in this sport say that a mechanical failure means a rider couldn't keep it on two wheels. So my engine blows, that means I couldn't keep it on two wheels? Don't think so.

Like I said. It sucks, but it doesn't always have to be your fault why you didn't keep it on two wheels. Mechanical or not. Sometimes people crash into you and you don't keep it on two wheels. Same same.

So.... the JGR semi is already at Yosh in Chino. Where RCH is also, right? All the bike are literally in the same building. Weimer only has a few days to be A1 ready... Does RCH/Suzuki just let him bolt his works suspension on Barcia's bike? Or does Jake have to use Barcia's JGR suspension setup and try to adapt? How much is Suzuki really trying to keep it all a 'family'?

And what forks did Barcia decide on? Air or Spring Showa? In house at JGR or handled by Showa?

Showa spring, handled by JGR in house. Components should be the same if not nearly the same as the ones that RCH is using. The Showa guys and Oler at JGR have a great relationship, so I wouldn't be surprised it Jake was just going to run "his" settings in JGR's stuff.

That's part of what makes this switch quick and simple for those involved.

I dunno man, as far as I know "can't keep it on two wheels" implies the rider crashes his bike on his own. Nothing to do with a mechanical or getting run into/railroaded by another rider.

I agree with what you are saying but Jake been on Suzukis for two years? He even started last SX season on Kawasaki and before that was Kawi as well when he wasnt hurt.

He´s been on Suzuki LESS than a year and thats with sitting out outdoors,

If Deano didnt have this decent Yami support (with possible rumors about racing for Factory Yamaha outdoors) I think Deano would have been a better pick.

I also think Suzuki had a small saying in that Jake got the ride but thats just me speculating Tongue
Yeah, I added a year by accident. Time flies when you get old and hit your head a bunch growing up. Laughing

I'm pumped for Jake. Didn't he recently state during an interview that he has had all the metal removed from his body and feels the best he has in many years? If he has been riding SX and training as much as people say, he might surprise some people in those first four rounds. The smart money would put him 6th-12th.

I would think JBone would let Jake run whatever motor and suspension he wants with the JGR stickers. Most likely Jake will run exactly what he has been riding and training on for the past few months. Anything else would be stupid.

They were Haters, not Assholes, get it right Bro Grinning

Assholes would have required a bit of thought, whereas the fanboys can just press Ctrl+V and they got the H word right there - a ready made comeback for any points of discussions that they disagree with and yet annoyingly, have no counter argument Laughing

Hey genius, just because Mookie didn't get picked doesn't mean he's not the best guy for the job. The guy you quoted and the fella who quoted him above have been talking shit on both of them Stewart boys for as long as I can remember. Your little hater speech is great, but a hater is a hater.
You must not be able to remember very far back then. I really rooted for Malcolm and never once talked shit on him until this past week. Actually, I'm not even talking shit on him. I still think he's fun to watch and seems like a really cool kid and I absolutely wish him the best. I'm giving my opinion on the whole situation. I believe Malcolm committed 2017 suicide when he decided not to run the 2016 MX series. Malcolm is not James Stewart (pre 2015). He's not Jeremy McGrath. He's not Chad Reed. He's not Ricky Carmichael. He's not even close to any of the top guys today. He doesn't have the championships or results these guys have. He can't take MX off and expect to get a factory ride. Now the butt hurt fans are crying about it and disrespecting Dean and Jake saying Malcolm should get a ride over them. People honestly think a factory team will take Malcolm over Jake? Jake is the type of guy that will promote his sponsors 110%. He's going to give everything he has in training and race day. That's exactly what these factorys want. Is Malcolm more talented? Absolutely. Talent only gets you so far, as I'm sure Malcolm is learning now. Unfortunately many on here won't accept that.

Now James, look in my post history. I was a HUGE supporter of James up until last year. I wanted him to come back and kick ass so bad. The drama, excuses and nonsense that follows this family turned me away.

Answer: "Eject, Eject, EJECT!"

Good Morning, all. Is it Thursday, yet? Can we pullllllease get this season STARTED ALREADY? Has the -Jake- announcement been made, yet? Did he get ADDED to the presser, yet? Did Mookie come out and announce his program, yet? Did people find out if DUBYA will sell those Blue D.I.D.s, yet?

We need ANSWERS!

I fully expect Weimer in the top 10. Honestly, I hope he beats BOTH RCH guys... Cool

Guyb said Malcolm opted out of taking the JGR ride because he is building his own team and it wouldn't be fair to the people helping him.
