So now these AHRMA spin off clubs are forming a national series like AHRMA....interesting.
I hope it works and and generates a stronger turn out.
When the bike age allows a 93-96 cr 250 I WILL be Restoring one and racing some of these.

I've got some pics somewhere of him racing D11 with Eickel, Yezek, SLother, Collier,Rand,Steel, etc. 94 ish.
The vintage racing sounds great too. Old school bikes & tracks and just for kicks vet riders.
Mammoth East would be an AMAZING place for a vintage national. I'd love to build a stock looking 93 and run the 15 on it.
I have gotten several calls about having Colored radiator hoses made for the liquid vintage bikes and am seriously considering it.....only need a spare set and 3 sets ordered to get them made.
Can the Vintage scene handle yet another club ?
Would a late 80's- early 90's bike be legal in a classes?

How are the parts availability for Huskys? I would not mind riding a 250 or 390 Hunkavarnish again.
No part probs so far FYI. Also has Mike Larsons old 390; think '79 or '80...likes a lot.
Monoshocks don't have linkage; a one piece swingarm/one shock. Prob a different leverage ratio, but a higher center of gravity too.
I remember my 78 had soft cases.....any other years or bikes to avoid?
Wish I still had had my full blown RPM 81 KX250.
Well, that sucks because my
1983 Yz 125...not eligible
1985 Rm 125...not eligible
1983 Cr 480...not eligible
1983 KTM 250...not eligible
1983 KX 125...not eligible
1969 Hodaka ace 100...ELIGIBLE but would never shame my self by showing up with it
Again its difficult to understand these vintage promoters.
The perception of what a vintage bike should be is on a sliding scale. Vintage to a guy in his forties is not the same as vintage to a guy in his sixties. As time marches on, newer bikes will be considered vintage and they will be included in the programs. There will come a day when a 2009 KX450F will be considered a vintage bike and kids will wonder how the heck we were able to ride them!
Short answer: Be patient and you will be able to run the national series with your bikes from the eighties.
