I can't believe that someone has not tried to buy the molds to this company.

It was a few years ago now, but I was in contact with the guy who owns Plasticwerks. He still owned the business but shut it down due to a lack of time to dedicate to it. I wanted to get 50 of the CR front plates made, which initially he was willing to do, but the emails slowed after a couple weeks and the correspondence eventually stopped. Pity...

Yeah I'm not after a replica. People have them I'll find one eventually. Im sure it's gonna be a pretty penny, but that's the fun in building bikes is searching for the parts. I needed a works one Kx plate and a friend actually had it in a closet.

I can't understand why an other company does not make them, with the right template as Plasticwerks, not UFO or others .

Last NOS was the one I got from Vintage Iron in 2009.

Dirk has (had) my last PW but that may be long gone-- was like 2014 or so, and had off holes drilled in it.

When I got into Vintage racing about 5 years a go he still had a web site you could buy things from. But never could get a response from him at all. Hell he could have made good money making front plates for Yz's and Cr's alone.

MB, I think he kept up the website for some time as a place holder. You could "place" an order -- then nothing. I got two sets from him when the site was actually being used in late 2008, but by 2009 or 2010 had to get the other plate from Rick at Vintage Iron.
