Shock was assembled wrong, or leaked oil.

The only way shock shafts bend is when there is a loss of oil or nitrogen (or massively stiff valving on the piston without taking precautions to prevent cavitation) when this happens the seal head gets sucked inside the shock which puts more stress on the shaft itself rather than the body

looks like the piston siezed in the body.

Prolly pap paw revalved it in the tool shed.

Looks like the name on the body is EVO, which used to be Keeney/TBT. I've never seen anything like that before, nor have I heard of any bad feedback about their stuff.

EVO branched off from TBT.Keeney is the east EVO shop and not positive about the west coast shop.EVO is not replated to TBT at all though.
