Bike looks good. Have you ran the air striker on this bike before the rebuild? I have one on my cr250 but never had a problem with the mikuni on my cr125. Is there a performance gain?
I got this bike with the PWK So I have no comparison unfortunately... I know that the PWK is easier to tune ( and keep set up ) as for actual gains on paper I think there would be some. Perhaps someone more attuned to engine mods etc can chime in with more information as I'm not a total guru on performance gains... Smile

I got the bike with the V force and PWK. Plus the BUD race head and porting work... The engine is a fire ball... To answer your question, I wouldn't know what the differences would be since I've never used a RAD valve ( I know of them just never used one ) perhaps see if someone more knowledgeable can chime in as I'm not a guru in engine performance mods Smile

I finished off the graphics with only a few small bubbles and a little crease mark here and there ...considering I don't do this often I'm happy with the way they went on!

Love this scheme Smile although the lighting isn't the best....

I didn't use the swing arm decals or airbox decals... The airbox has a carbon fibre look and the swung arm is awesome just as is Smile

How much were the coatings on the suspension? You got it done in Japan right? At least that is what I recall you saying.

The coatings were roughly A$130 per part for Kashima and about A$260 per part Ti-Ni or DLC if you want that coating.... Then add shipping one way ( I get free express return shipping ). You'll need to factor shipping to Japan... It's the cheapest I've found so far... If you want further details PM me....
Ps-the coatings should be even less if you convert to US$ as the US$ is stronger than the A$...

I got the seat cover today! I jut need to stretch out some creases but I popped it in place for some pictures Smile .... I think it pulls the bike together nicely!

I don't like the lighting... It really doesn't show the colours properly!

More updates coming soon!

Thanks for the keen replies!

I like how the forks have the lighter section at the bottom where the seal and bushing sits, it's different Smile
I can't believe how good these look and even better can't wait to ride this thing!!!!! It's going to feel unreal.....

Got stuck into the garage today for a bit, I wanted to get the exhaust together... For some reason it's a tight fit but all together. Of corse what's the point of an update without pictures Smile

Enjoy....

The more I look at the bike the more content I am with my decision to stick with the white plastics all round... It really 'cleans up' the look IMO Smile

Didn't want the extra maintenance of a works pipe?

I live near the beach..... So everything rusts super quick.... Hence no works pipe.

Also did a little mock up ( to help clear off the work bench for motor prep )...

I hope to have the cases ready to go ASAP! I'm loving the finish on the swing arm...it's like aluminium sparkle :D
I read the whole thread still not sure what your using to get a nice finish on the swing arm and the case?aqua blaster? hot bath? help would be much appreciated I'm n the middle of a build and the motor isn't looking good.
