I don't see a race. I see Montel WIlliams trying to sell me a coin set. It's 12:14

What happened to:
Don't forget to tune in to CBS at 12:00 p.m. EST today to catch the AMA Supercross class action from Houston, TX. Then, watch the AMA Supercross Lites class at 6:00 p.m. EST on SPEED.

I still dont get how the producers of the show can watch this shit and at the end of the day and say, "damn we really knocked that one out of the park"

The CBS coverage is a joke. It's way better on speed. And they had waaaay to many commercials.

The coverage improved a little bit this time. They caught most of the action...even one of Sorby's take-outs.

hehe.. I agree 1000% Scott. I am SO tired of seeing "the pit party" or some dumb ass "autograph session".. just SHOW me the race!!

Is it just me or are the camera angles ESPN use at the X Games (snowcross & supercross) way better then what we're getting from Speed? I also like how ESPN waits to show us the holeshot ( X Games) till AFTER the race.

What is there really to complain about aside from Ralphy ?
1/25/2009 2:05pm
Are there going to be any re-runs on Speed? CBS here is a little unreliable!
1/25/2009 5:06pm
I have missed two rounds of the big boy class because of CBS!

CBS still sucks!!!!!!!!!!!!! I thought they had changed their ways after last week, but then after heat 1 it went down hill from there.

I was happy that they went right into racing as soon as the show started this week, and they actually showed the whole heat race, but after that it got dumb. with 48 second lap times there should be no reason the 1 hour show should run "hilites" of the 2nd heat.
8 lap heat x 48 second laps works out to a little over 6 minutes. x 2 and well say 13 minutes total to show both heats. 6 lap LCQ x well say 55 second laps for the LCQ guys, works out to 5:30 to show the LCQ in full. were at say 19 minutes so far. 20 lap main, at well say 50 seconds per lap works out to 16 minutes and 40 seconds, well round that up to 17 mins. So there was a total of 36 minutes of action. plenty of time after that to throw in a few interviews, commercials, and some BS filler as well.

Did anyone else notice that they showed the 2nd heat like it was the first heat.

What's the deal with camera angles? they are located way to far above the floor of the stadiums. they need to get down and show one section at a time around the whole track not just from a mile away, you don't get a feel for the obsticles or speed they actually are going.

once again comparing to the canadian coverage, they would get right next to the track and get the riders whizzing by.

And why can't they show it later on in the day. not primetime late but at least let the hardcore guys get back from riding. They are trying to appeal to the mainstream viewers and thats not even who watches. Speed, CBS, shasheen, and erin can go fuck themsleves.

The pre-race smoke show also needs to be cut down so it's not so hazy during the first few races.

just sayin'
