Heres an example of around 1985 maybe. One guy a top CMC guy was racing 125, 250 and 500.

During this 2 month summer series the were races at Ascot Gorman Mexico Carlsbad a few other places too.

That month the dude was going to make about 30 grand in prize money. Plus contingencies, plus prizes and championship prizes too worth about 5 grand.

Thats not a bad haul for a guy who probably would run 10-12th ar a national at that time.

And thats not counting if he raced another race on a Sat or Sunday as extra. You could literally race 3 classes 3 days a week. Dudes would show up with dirty bikes on Saturday from a Friday night race maybe Sunday too.

Video games paying more then actual real people competeing....yeah, the world is definitely going soft, im sure the guys racing MXGP will be thrilled to hear that.....if you spend more time playin videos games then actual doing any physical activity your just a useless person......

Mad skills is paying out to its customers in hopes of drawing more customers. The FIM would be paying its "Employees". A lot more draw to the customer when they are the ones trying to get paid.
