That was an epic race, and the best thing about it is the two stroke sound when they rail the corners and hit the whoops, god i miss that

Yep....definetly a defining moment in the sport! That was one hell of a battle! This video is 8 friggin' years old , and those guys were friggin rippin!

That was one thing I never understood. MC was always into being on his own teams and shit when I think he would have been better off if that is even possible going to factory yamaha or something. He won three championships on chapparal yamaha. what a beast.

i was sitting right infront of that triple it was awesome..... my very first race was MC's last win talk about a battle that was. Did you see how small DV's bike looked like he was on a ttr-125.

The '96 MC/Damon Huffman Seattle SX battle was unbelievable as well. Back and forth up 'till the final laps. It was so intense; we were watching it from the floor, the crowd noise made it impossible to hear anyone right next you most of the whole main.

It was impressive since MC was still on Honda and the aura of invincibility that still surrounded him and Huffman showed himself/the other riders he could be passed and repassed.

Thanks for the vids....That was incredible as well.

Nothing sounds better than the best riders on them two strokes.

Don't know if the triples are bigger, the finish line is bigger, and the whoops are bigger or the 2 strokes just make it seem like the track is more difficult but they are hauling and getting some big ass air.

In 96 Emig and MC epic battle for the outdoor title. It was MC's last ride on a honda
and it started a string of three major titles for Emig. Another great one I saw was Bradshawas last win at MT Morris in ?

It was the end. RC was right, MC couldn't race for 20 laps. I wish it was that time again, the 2-smokes sounded awsome and having David Bailey doing the color commentary sounded great. Was this the golden era of SX? The JS CR battles are pretty good now, but just everything in general.
