I would imagine this isn't JT's favorite gear either. But it is business. When dealing with design, it is impossible to make one design that everyone likes. That is why you have multiple lines and variations within those.

It seems like JT has a sense for style and design. Knowing that this gear sells like it does, would make me cry a little. But sales are sales ... I've sold out for bad design too.

I'm not too concerned. If I am out of line he won't respond to it.

I see no harm in enlightening people with what was popular. I'm not asking for exact numbers. I'm not asking for what they pay vs what they sell for? That isn't useful to me at all.

Just curious about where current trends are with gear design. If he doesn't want to talk about it, that's fine, he can tell me to pound sand.

Appears to be some knock-off Seven gear with a splash of Fly patterns and color influences.

I remember this gear being somewhat polarizing. People either loved it or hated it, curious to see what people think now?

How many sets did you order? Selling out is relative.

How does that compare to other lines? Can you share a breakdown of what was the most popular (based on total number sold, not percentage of the initial order?)

It's Limited Edition and not in any catalogs so the idea is to sell through it and move on. It's as much a marketing play as much as anything else. We typically wouldn't put a high volume item in a polarizing design, such as this.

And sorry, comparison and sales info is all internal.

It's all good. I'm glad you sold through the stuff :-)

i think compression shirts and jerseys over top will be the future of MX gear, Seven just started the trend. I dont think of this as "Knock off"

Wrong.

AXO did it years ago. Someone else before that.

Exactly. I think it's hideous but my boys love it. At least I can pick them out on the track................

Makes MY comment "more stupid" or YOUR answer to it "more stupid"? You came on here posting pictures looking for comments on that ghetto gear and people responded. I'm sorry if my opinion offends you but don't look for comments that you are afraid to get. When I drive down the street and see graffiti on the walls, moto isnt the first thing that comes to mind!

Thanks for the love on the Tagger/CA gear! The stuff is legit. As you probably saw watching the Red Bull Straight Rhythm, Austin Politelli had a nice debut with it and he has been one of our main guys with testing and giving us feedback, as well as an amateur rider back on the east coast, currently training at Club MX. And for the compression jersey shown here, we also have the standard moto jersey available as well so there's more options for the customer. The stuff is legit and super vented, it really makes a big difference that all of the logos are sublimated into the material, so there's no annoying rubber patches or anything like that to worry about. This is just our very first design, we only made a limited amount of sets and it is almost damn near sold out in just a couple of months, so we are pretty stoked on that. I know this tie dye set might be a little too wild and colorful for the older crowd, but we will be coming out with new designs in the future. A little on the expensive side for an upstart company. I really like the looks of it though.

I like it. We need some new ideas in this sport to keep it interesting. Well maybe it's not a new color way, but with the normal tagger style graffiti it looks cool. I like the compression shirt with the separate jersey on top, couple of different color compression jerseys to mix it up would keep me from washing my jersey every day.

Gear looked awesome at the Straight Rythem. It's probably a good thing that it's not a hit with most vital posters. What's up with the CA Gear on your website? Is that a different company? Some good looking kits.
