How does everyone find out what bend of bar is right for them? I don't have exact measurements of myself but I'm about 6 ft and I'm a rather broad rider, any suggestions?

Unfortunately it is a trial and error process. Some shops will stock a few bends that you can hold and get a feel, but for me that doesn't do much.

I went to the dealer and sat on oem bikes to see what felt good on the bike. Determined their bend, and then used that as a baseline for comparing to other bends. Renthal has a comparison chart.

As a baseline, taller bars make it easier on the lower back when standing. The flipside is you don't get as much weight on the front wheel when sitting.

Lower bars make it easier to get weight on the front wheel but can be a little uncomfortable for some when standing.

CR Highs my friend. I'm 6'3" and that's been my preferred bend for a long time. Just feels right.

Agree, the CR High is very popular for a Reason.

I'm about the same size. Windham bend twin walls work good for me.

And how I found out was simply riding a friends bike with those bars before buying them.

I go with a pro rider bend that is similar in stature to me. I run Pro Taper Contour in the RC bend because I'm short and stalky.

So does chest width or torso have much to do with it? I bought my 450 used and it had Pastrana FMX bars which I hated and then swapped to the stock YZ high bend. Should I just go with CR high or stick to the YZ bend?

Also, does anyone have any experience with the Pro Taper Fuzion? How is it?

Agreed, I am 5'6" and I really like the CR highs. Aren't obnoxiously tall but still feel great standing and sitting.
