Don’t judge and enjoy!

I know I am slow, but I have a whole bunch of excuses.

#1 – I am 56 years old

#2 – I am sketched out from not riding for 4 months – coming back off of injury

#3 – Getting used to new bike

LOL! No, really, Milestone MX was good today - just cruising around trying to get used to my new KTM and having a good time.

Good ride man! Made it look easy.

If that video didn't prove the power of modern day four strokes, then I dont know what would!

Thanks guys , I like the Ktm, especially the motor - it has great power. The suspension is not bad either. I was playing a little with the air fork, but it was working good. Definitely sore after the riding - especially my legs!

One year is a long time not to ride. I am glad you are back on the bike. There is nothing like doing what you love.

You guys are so lucky with your practice tracks and facilities,i want to come over and ride at some point. we have maybe 5-6 decent practise tracks in the Uk and its normally pissing with rain.

Yea milestone Mx is great track. Lately they have really stepped it up. Great prep, nice jumps. The one thing that I really like is the monthly pass. You pay $80 a month and you can go riding anytime you want. Saves me a whole bunch of money.

Yep, sure is.

Had a hip operation this time round, so along recovery but after the first ride back last week I'm happy to say it's all ok, was bloody nervous tho lol, few laps round and was back in the swing of it, looking forward to tomorrow out at our local practise track for a blast!. But as Rowlands said you guys are so, so lucky with living where you do and the quality of the tracks, it's getting so I dare not even look at the weather forcast as I don't want to be disappointed to be riding in the slop and rain for yet another Sunday I have waited all bloody week for!.

But, as you say it's something we love so you just take it and get on with it. Can I ask how your getting on with the air settings in the forks?, any pressure your getting on with best?, be good to know your riding weight and what you seem to get on with. Also are you running standard gearing?.

Looking forward to tomorrow for a blast out & MEC!. Cheers.
