Good times back then

Stewart was going for it last lap, wonder if would've gotten close enough if he didn't get stuck up on Wey in the whoops that lap.

You know it's a good race when Dungey AND Villopoto hit the ground. . . and once again at the end for good measure.

Damn, that was a good race. Was that the last time the stars aligned for a race?

I think it might have been. So many great riders and all were on it that night too, well, then there was RV and Dungey showing some rare form in the last corner!

I was literally jumping up and down on my couch watching that live... so fucking amped!

When Reedy's corners flow like that, the rest of it is easy and he's pretty damn good. Would be nice to see that flow this year on blue again, looked notchy in turns last year, especially when it wasn't glassy.

I got the 22 order number the night before the race and called him to win.

That night I was sitting with my brother and before the main I said "There's gonna be a battle between Dungey, Stewart, Kenny, Villopoto, but Reedys gonna win." And as Reed passed each guy (Dungey and Villo with the assists for falling) my brother was like "no way, no way, NO WAY!"

That triple on after the whoops was so much faster, once Reed had it dialed he just started reeling them in. One of the classic races for sure.

One cool thing was the crowd stayed until the end. And as each pass was made it got louder and louder.
