After all Suzuki have good settings from Seewer's bike.

Evans, just 17 years of age and still in high school, clinched the MXD crown at his second attempt this season aboard the YZ250F and has now been called in to join Todd Waters (MXGP) and Dean Ferris (Open) as Australia’s MX2 entry.
“Jed and myself get along pretty well and we have done some training together this year, so I am bummed for him,” Evans commented. “I will try and do my best for him and the team. This year hasn’t gone the way we wanted it to go and it hasn’t really sunk in yet that I am leaving – I’m still trying to take it all in.
“We have definitely come along way this year and we are fit and healthy and prepared to go and do our job over there. I couldn’t be any more excited. I only found out that Jed got hurt on Saturday night after racing at the supercross and then I didn’t think anything of it – I didn’t think I would get the call.
“But on late Sunday afternoon I got the call and from there it’s been a pretty hectic 24 hours getting everything ready. The biggest thing I am looking forward to this weekend is just being able to represent my country and to do the best I can and hopefully make a few people proud.”
Evans is the second fill-in rider called into Team Australia for the 2016 running, as Waters was just last week confirmed to be replacing last year’s MX1 national champion Kirk Gibbs as our MXGP entry in the prestigious international event."

Must say in shock at the desicion as I thought JRs Dad would have been able to secure his spot.

Congrats to all riders chosen and be safe.
Think the choice came down to more who wanted to go and wanted to spend the coin.
Have to remember there is minimal financial support for the team this year with the Government funding gone.
The three other Yamaha riders all had great starts to SX, finishing 2nd, 3rd, 4th.
Evan's could have easily been up there as well, qualified 5th fastest, out raced some much more experienced riders in the dash for cash, just a crash in the main hurt him.
He got back up from his crash a lap down and stayed on the back of the leading pack for the majority of the race.
Will be great to see how he goes, current MXD (Under 19s Champ) here. Maybe he impresses and we have two young guns in MXGP in 2017!
Such a bummer for the two blighters that got hurt previous to this.
The young fellow is jumping into very deep waters. The two others experience, will, hopefully, be of great benefit to him.
It's a chance of a life time for him - I hope he enjoys the experience.
As for the funding - it's a crime that it's taken away / severely reduced from other sports, each time we rock up to the Olympics. Just as the Australian Teams so dominated last years ISDE, when you'd think logically, we might get more acceptance / backing for the efforts of riders / and helpers, that so well represented their Country.
