If CR22 can still catch a primo ride surely the 7 can too. I would say they both have the same chances at winning..

CR22 and JS7 have been at the complete different ends of the spectrum when looking at the last 2 sx seasons.

This is the way I see it with Monster Energy Yamaha. Chad is riding for testing purposes (yes he is still racing supercross in 2017) After supercross he will either train with the team or manage the team, and possibly do a little testing. They will most likely pick up another high profile rider for the 2017 outdoors to ride with Cooper (Maybe not). The James Stewart situation... I mean you have to think that if Suzuki Japan is really standing behind him like the insiders say then he must be working up a strict contract with RCH. I just can't see Ricky doing it. Maybe for like 1 or 2 years to finish out his career but that's it. Ricky wants championships not dried out past champions. I only mention Ricky because Cary is a good guy don't get me wrong but he's just there to help fund the thing because he likes the sport.

Unfortunately we will not see James on the podium again and the money he would want will warrant a podium finish something no manufacturer will look over when maybe signing James

RC will do exactly as his Suzuki and Mon$ter handlers instruct. Money in big enough piles causes rigid men to bend....

Would MXGP ever be a possibility for Stewart? Malcolm was down at Charlotte on TV saying he thought the set up was awesome and maybe he would be riding a GP next year. It would seem like a perfect setup for James. It would be full of hype, Luongo would get all kinds of MXGP-TV subscriptions(the main concern for him) and the schedule has lots of breaks for recovery. Even though Villopoto crashed out early I'm sure it brought a lot of valuable exposure to the series.

The tracks are rougher in Europe.

The schedule would fit because of the breaks lol, but you have to think about the little one at home. He wouldn't be comfortable because the whole team wouldn't be focused on just him. That would be interesting though..

I've got it. James leases factory Suzuki truck and starts up Team 7 Suzuki Racing with Help from Suzuki and his brother as other rider. That sounds like a cool option. Sounds catchy, Team 7 Suzuki Racing.

I seen the dude get 5 or 6 SX wins in 2014before he got busted. Then he gets a concussion at A1 and still tries to race. Dale Jr has sat out like 10 races with a concussion. JS came back 2 weeks later and made the main, through his heat race in Oakland. Now you guys say he could not make a main? Jeez get real. I agree he didn't want to race this year, after all that! Make no mistake about it, if he wants to win again he can. RCH only hopes he goes with them. Race or not he is a bigger draw than RD5 & KR94 combined.

Seriously? Because every race I've been to in the last 2 years there's a ridiculous amount of people wearing orange RD5 gear everywhere I look, but I can't remember the last race I've been to that someone was wearing a JS7 specific piece of memorabilia.

That's easy RD5, cuz in the last 2 years I haven't seen JS at any of the 5 races I've been to.

RC will do exactly as his Suzuki and Mon$ter handlers instruct. Money in big enough piles causes rigid men to bend....

Translation: Ricky will do anything for money

EDIT: I was thinking of Monster as Ricky's personal sponsor, I forgot they aren't a team sponsor

Why would Suzuki Japan want Bubba Stew, a guy that didn't win any championships for them and bad mouthed their bikes everytime he didn't do well it was the bike, gotta work on the bike...Hell they didn't stand behind Robert or DeCoster after winning multiple championships and selling a ton of bikes for them ...

Chad is still a podium threat in the right conditions. Hard to ignore how fast he was at San Diego this '16 season....
Getting pretty late in the season to not have a ride. Especially for a rider like James. For a sport we all view as big. You break it down to how many guys really can make a living riding SX and or MX today. Not a whole lot. Thinking the 80's and 90's may have had more riders who didn't get rich. But had rides and that was their full time gig. Racing.

I always associate Ricky with Monster because they're a personal sponsor, my fault.
