Definitely solidified in my mind that Langston was right, when he said that Roczen was the fastest motocross racer IN THE WORLD in 2016, hands down. Tomac was on rails and rode great the last 2 weeks, but I have to give credit, where credit is due. Can you imagine if Roczen had raced today, it would have been ugly...

I think Tomac did so well because Roczen was on a beach in the Bahamas...... I doubt he did anything major on the bike. I bet he just didn't mind fuck himself the last two weeks.

Exactly Tomac rode just as Tomac always rides. He was doing the same triple triple double and all that at the last round of Glenn Helen. Same dude. We just don't need to hear bike setups com A1 when the dunge and Ken drop the hammer.

I don't know about that to be honest. The two nationals he won this year I felt like I was just waiting for him to crash, like he was really wrestling the bike around and looked on edge. Watching him ride today, the guy was dialed and smooth as hell. Something changed for the better, that's for sure. Had Roczen been there today he would have gotten his ass handed to him.

I guess we will find out next year, if he found something in the last 2 weeks setup wise, but this year KR was the better man and I believe he would have trounced the Euro riders as well. It was simply his year. Do I hope someone steps it up next year and dethrones him?...hell yes I do Smile

It sure wasn't due to his start in the second moto. He went through the pack, though, and dropped Cairoli and Gajser like bad habits...and they're both bad dudes.

So help me understand this, machine.

Because Tomac went out and laid a whipping on the rest of the GP field two weeks in a row, and Roczen is drinking fruity girly drinks on a beach, inviting guys on Instagram to suck his d, and getting into a penis measuring content with Barcia, after that, after ALL that - that confirms that he would have beat Eli this weekend.....??

Hmm. Well, ya got me! What can I say?

Agree...

Kenny would have likely won just because he's mind-fucked Eli all year, but I doubt he'd have been 6 seconds ahead of the MXGP guys and 3 ahead of Eli, especially at GH where Eli can just goes balls out.

I don't think there should be any doubt that ET and KR are the two fastest guys in the world right now.

Well no suprise on a typical "would coulda" topic just to stir the pot,ELI said in the interview about how everything simply worked and was just so right rang true,he was almost speechless, that was an incredible ride in the zone of last year when he destroyed a National but a minute or whatever.

Sorry but Roczen woulda coulda had nothing for ELI today

And winning in your own series doesn't necessarily make the best in the world, winning everywhere does, Gaijser has crushed everyone at times this year but looked way off his usual self here in the US

Roczen was amazing there in May and he consistently beat Eli all season.

Eli had all year to put it to Kroc and didn't get it done. I like Tomac but Kenny was the king this year hands down.

Eli was there in Charlotte.
Eli was there, today, at Glen Helen.

And you know what he accomplished at BOTH RACES?

He beat The World's best.
Hunted them down and ran away from them.
Period.

Eli Tomac.

Not Kenny or any-one-else you guys imagine with your "woulda-coulda-shoulda" BS.

Eli.

Period.

The only due credit goes to the guys that show up to race. Kenny and the rest of the US 450 guys went golfing. Saying Kenny would have won today is like saying Carmichael would have won today.

Also saying Tomac would have spanked Kenny is just as crazy.

Why? He beat Roczen convincingly a few times this year already. No reason he wouldn't have today. Not like these other guys were going slow.

I bet biased Langston would never have agreed Cairoli was the best IN THE WORLD not long ago when he won 4 straight MXdN Motos then had the better of RV when they faced up in a series would he...Cool

It was an awesome display by Tomac, when he's on he has everything you really want to see in a rider; grit & determination, flow, clever line choices and awesome balls out style at times. I'm a long time Roczen fan so naturally favour Kenny in a match up, but I don't think he would have been able to match what Eli had this weekend.

One of Tomacs best attributes is his humility off the track too, seems like a real decent & respectful dude.

Nice job ET.

Team USA sure could use him at the MXDN. Not blaming him at all though. Their schedule is crazy.

No, because Ken had air forks. Remember?

Well lucky Roczen wasn't there cause all the top guys were doing 2:10's pretty consistently so they all would've flogged Kenny

and yes I'm joking

I dunno if he would've beaten Roczen or not but holy shit he was impressive this weekend! When he was back in the top ten I was thinking 'oh well that's good Cairoli's gonna win this last moto and get an overall to finish his shitty year' then Tomac got into 3rd and I thought he won't make up 12 secs in 9 minutes.. and I guess I was right haha he did it in 2 fucken laps

eli won against the worlds best. I don't know what is there to argue about.

eli's reaction and comment after the 2nd moto just told me that he got more out if this than a couple of race wins. he said he felt awesome on the bike and that this was special for him because he felt they were missing something all year and it finally comes around for him. and we all know what a happy eli can do.

btw they made a shock change to eli's bike and he said he can turn the bike much better now (which he struggled with before) but still hammer the bumps etc.

so that just shows that he and the team used those gp's wisely to prepare for '17.
