Like Ping said in the Matthes interview this week Millsaps needs to give it up and do something else for a while. Honda needs to lawyer up and get out of his contract.

Didn't those dudes on the live show last night say they spoke with milsaps and he was over racing or 'burned out'?

Milsaps made to much money to soon in his career. He is retired but has not told anyone yet. Milsaps is a prime example on why contracts should be paid out by your race performance. I bet it sucks for Honda watching this kid dick around on there bikes week in and week out and then have to cut him a check for that shit.

Show of hands from those who really know what they're talking about.

That's what I thought.

Same thing, different year. Whe he was on Suzuki he decided to take a break during the season on the track. I do believe that if anyone here was given the opportunity of a lifetime you'd give it 100% week in, week out. Millsaps riding really does show a lack of inthusiasm as well as effort.

+1

It's really disappointing to see him "riding" around and if you watch any of his interviews he looks like he really doesn't care what a shame to waste talent

Ashley Fiolek has the most heart and desire on the entire Honda Team. Shorty is a close 2nd. Tedesco and Millsaps are a waste of factory money and time.

McGrath could come back now and finish higher than Mudflaps right now.

I read some interview with Millsaps awhile back and he said he was looking to get into real estate. He said something like he had enough money and the right people to do it.

It truly amazes me how some on this board are so dissatisfied with their own lives. So dissatisfied that they get entertainment out of passing judgment on a twenty year old kid because he is not living up to their expectations.

How many of you are living up to your own expectations?

You guys do realize the 450 class is FULL of talent this year? I heard he was sick for A1 with the flu. I had the flu two weeks ago and never left the couch for days. He was out there trying to run with the best riders in the world. Ask Sean how tough it is to come in and make a main this year. He is busting his ass to get there and so are the rest of the guys.

Do I wish Millsaps would be a top 5 guy right now? Hell yes.

Sounds like the AMA should hire a full time physician for these guys. As soon as they suck it up in the races they automatically get/were sick. They don't sell vitamin C in California?

Millsaps will be forming his own team next season......not sure what brand they'll be riding.

Milsaps, is an outdoor man, they should speak that every Saturday, as they do about Villopoto.

Just because we voice our opinion on a racer in the sport we love that has nothing to do with our own lives or expectations. It was his own choice to put himself in the spotlight and now we are expected not to question when he isnt as fast as he has been in the past? What is with you people? If you can't handle some good old fashioned bench racing go find a more PC forum.
Millsaps appears to have lost some motivation that is all we are saying.

I cant believe how judgmental people can be...Novices commenting on skills, potential, and results of a top factory pro. Its like an intern telling the v.p. how to run the company. Its insulting. He'll without a doubt score some podiums and lead laps... He won 2 races last year, no one else at Honda did (at honda, not at fc) Who could do better with his spot? no one. It doesn't help that every sx track this year has been basic with nothing to separate anyone. The tracks don't get difficult till A3, and Id say there is where Davi will begin to make you all eat you're words.

Fuck'em. He chose the life to accept money to represent products to the public. And he cashes a healthy fuckin coin in doing so. The public is speaking

Plus this is a site dedicated to MX/SX, would you rather talk about stocks and euro bonds

Something is up with him.

Maybe he's not getting along with the new bike. I doubt that is causing his problems though. I also think that with a great start he would finish a lot higher and this thread wouldn't exist right now.

He does seem to be going through the motions a bit. Bike problems, fitness problems, personal problems be damned, when you are a professional motocross racer there should be no way that you don't look like you're trying.

x2 racing since a young age can do that. theyshould give him a outdoors only contract instead, he seems to like that alot more it seems. plus like someone else said the class is packed with talent now. over the last 2-3 years all the great lights riders have moved up and its like the lights class afew years back. look at the 20 who qualified and remember the burner, townley, and a few others(langston) its crazy

Do you experts really think that starting out the season with 10, 10, 12 is worth calling for someones head or are you true lovers of the sport still just pissed because he didn’t act as childish as some of you wanted and take Reed out last year so Windham could win the title.

Maybe Davi should show up at some of the local races and hammer on all of you skillful core moto guys and maybe even belittle you kids, after all it’s just bench racing. Better yet maybe he should get an account here on Vital and hide behind a computer screen acting like he has a clue and talking trash.

No problem with bench racing but no need to act like an asshole to show everyone what a hard core moto guy you are.
